    • Important: You must have either a valid (non-expired) Class A or Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) or a valid (non-expired) Class A or B CDL Permit valid in the State of New York with a passenger endorsement and no airbrake or other disqualifying restrictions. Only candidates with the above license/permit will be canvassed and considered for the position. If you meet the qualifications to become a Bus Operator, you may be provided with a pre-employment package and a date to begin your pre-employment process and drug testing
    • You misunderstood the post. That was from last week, and second I wanted to go for conductor, not locomotive. I confused the difference between driving a train and operating a train and some guy corrected me on that. But he kept saying I should go for locomotive. My resume is filled with customer service, I don’t have any kinds of driving experience on me. That wasn’t the point or the intended conversation. Prior to that, I was just saying the HR people in LIRR is pretty unprofessional because they’ve called me and said they were gonna send me a packet for conductor 2 weeks ago right away and nothing has happened since then. I’ve paid expenses to take Uber and the train together to multiple places within the MTA, and nobody could assist me in any way. They’ve been tossing me around here and there.
    • nope sadly hopefully things move along, at this rate i don't think ill be hired till the summer.
    • I received the same appointment text. Brooklyn, early march. Must have a cdl or permit, for an information session. I applied in December i believe.  Do you know what restrictions would be considered disqualifying?
