FlushingExpress Posted December 15, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 15, 2014 http://web.mta.info/lirr/Timetable/Branch/HillsideBolandLIRREmployee.pdf Just wondering, does anyone know if those scheduled trains to Bolands Landing on that schedule will ALWAYS stop there, even if there are no employees on the platform when the train reaches it? I'm asking because I want to take a video of a train stopping there from the streets. I obviously can't go to the platform since I am not an employee. LIRR 154 Posted December 15, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 15, 2014 No , with Bolands Landing you can't go by the schedule.
nostalgia Posted December 15, 2014 Share #3 Posted December 15, 2014 Trains stopping at Bolands have an "E" in the employee timetable so I guess the train has to stop because there may be somebody on the train who wants to get off. It's not a flag stop.

It's not a flag stop. This is correct, if the schedule says the train will stop, it will stop. I'm not sure about the case where a train passes, is not scheduled to stop, yet observes employees.
