Mabstoa and NYCT use CNG and Hybrid buses. CNG buses operate out of Jackie Gleason and West Farms while Hybrids operate out of Amsterdam, Casey Stengal, Castleton, East New York, Fresh Pond, Grand Ave., Manhattanville and Queens Village.

7560-7819 are CNG buses

6365-6905 are Hybrids

3800-4649 are Next Generation Hybrids and are currently being delivered.

(MTA) Bus operates hybrids out of all depots that have local lines except college point.

3500-3783

Orion V's used on Spring Creek and College Point express routes are CNG's while all MCI's and Orion V's at Far Rockaway are powered by diesel.

Generally,

3000 (MTAB)/6000 (NYCT) series VIIs are hybrid

7000 series VIIs are CNG

All the NGs we have are hybrid

CNGs dont have that split on top.

Thx guys, now i know which is which by the top turtle part =)

I also notice when I enter these buses, when you head to the stairwell in the back, I notice one fleet has the seats 2 by 2, on each side, while the others dont, but a bigger aisle, is CNG the 2 by 2 seats?

CNG's and older Hybrids have 2x2 seats.
