First week after the N construction

After the construction on the (N) was complete, the train ran at a very slow speed through the site. It rolled through at about 5-10 mph. Even at that speed it sounded like we were going through a very tight turn screeching on by. It sounded like the rails weren't broken in.

It was like that for at least three to four days. By the end of the week we were moving through at the usual 15-25 mph without the screeching. This week it feels like nothing ever happened.

cool. thats a good thing knowing that the Nancy's tracks were replaced, and everythings good.

I hear, for some upcoming weekends, the Q will be getting Shuttle buses between ATlantic Av and Propsect Pk...

Trackwork At Atlantic Av.

Which means the Q will operate in 2 sections:

57 St / 7 Av & / or Times Square

and the Pacific St D/N Station

and between

Prospect PK & Stillwell-Coney Isl via Brighton Shuttle

Didn't you just love that grinding noise of steel wheels on fresh new steel rails?
