Ale188 Posted August 17, 2023 #1 Posted August 17, 2023 Since NJT is already here, I felt like it was about damn time to add SEPTA, since Philly is a less than 2 hour drive from NYC. You can talk about anything SEPTA related here, from the BSL to the Regional Rail to the new BAEbird XDE40s. So let's get the Philly party started! 1 Quote
FLX9304 Posted August 26, 2023 #2 Posted August 26, 2023 Should we start with how many 2005 D40LFs 8000-8119 are left in service In Southern, Callowhill and Frontier? But as you notice, they’re also retiring the 2008 DE41LFs 8120-8339 at the very same time! 0 Quote

They're already planning to replace the MFL trains and the Kawasaki trolleys, too. Catch them while you still can! (Cuz I catch them.) And plus, are any of them at Frankford anymore? IBSL since I went there. 😅 Edited August 27, 2023 by Ale188 0 Quote

Plus, SEPTA has been given the green light to purchase XE40 buses, which that will replace the older E40s. You can still find them 83xx & 84xx at Frankford, but you gotta go to 2 stops on the el: Arrot & FTC. That’s where you will find Frankford District buses at. 0 Quote

I see the 107 & 68 get extended to the airport and the 12's eastern terminal is now PL. the 116 extends to Delaware and the 119 gets close to the state, terminating near Conchester Highway 0 Quote

They’re losing 2 routes: 204 & 206. But 204 is operated by Krapf’s though. So that means that Krapf’s will have to find other ways to implement new routes on their own to serve around West Chester (served by SEPTA’s 104 & 135) and Paoli area (SEPTA’s 142: the old 92 & 206 combined). The Microtransit thingy over there is so large. actually the 68 is shortened big time. The 68 will operate full time only to PNC Operations Center. That’s the only bus that will NOT serve the airport. Only the 37, 107 extension, 108, 115 & new 137 will serve the airport. A Southern & 4 Victory routes. Edited September 12, 2023 by FLX9304 0 Quote

The 117 and the 110 now have a connection to the Media/Wawa Line. the 110 can also go up to PA 352, along with the 114. The 127 will go from Neshaminy to Trenton, the only bus route to go to Jersey. The 14 is shortened by a lot, too, going only from Neshaminy to Oxford Valley Mall. the 130 goes to BCCC, and a couple other things I didn't mention I'll mention later 0 Quote
