mark1447 Posted May 19, 2009 Share #27 Posted May 19, 2009 I think the M6 would kinda be pointless seeing that you can just transfer between the M5 to M1 for SF or use the M5/7 for Bway.. Although maybe the "idea" for having the M6 was to ease crowded bus routes on Bway/6th? Hey I could be wrong, i dunno i guess tomo thru fri ill head down to the city and get me some M6... eli Posted May 19, 2009 Share #29 Posted May 19, 2009 also the M6 should NOT be discontinued, that doesn't make any sense to take the route away,it's needed, lots of people ride it,some riders won't be thrilled if they take the route away.
MTR Admiralty Posted May 19, 2009 Share #30 Posted May 19, 2009 also the M6 should NOT be discontinued, that doesn't make any sense to take the route away,it's needed, lots of people ride it,some riders won't be thrilled if they take the route away. They are doing the Broadway project, so shutting down the M6 would be helpful in terms of operations. Plus, it's a good thing for the MTA since they will be "saving money by axing a bus line".
