INDman Posted November 8, 2007 Share #26 Posted November 8, 2007 Someone sold this sign on ebay a while ago, if I had the cash for it would have gotten it right away, but it went for a high price. Now i cant wait to get my hands on one of these signs, but I may run out of room.

INDman Posted November 11, 2007 Share #30 Posted November 11, 2007 Not really, when the MTA said they would sell redbird parts in I think 2000 or 2001 I started my "sign fund." I saved little by little from summer jobs, helping out people on my block, random jobs, and graduations and birthdays help too. The most expensive was the side sign at $300 but to me its well worth it. Years from now if i need money I could sell some, but it would break my heart. Eastman346 Posted November 11, 2007 Share #31 Posted November 11, 2007 300 is a lot for a roll sign but not a fortune. don't get me wrong I would probably have done the same.
INDman Posted November 11, 2007 Share #32 Posted November 11, 2007 Well that one was from the MTA, the other two front route signs, redbird and R27/30 were each under $120. There great signs, very clean and no rips in any of them.
NJTransitFan Posted November 11, 2007 Share #33 Posted November 11, 2007 When your in to it, your in to it. If people are willing to pay for it then why not. The classic signs are my favorite matted33.
INDman Posted November 13, 2007 Share #34 Posted November 13, 2007 I love the old ones too, like old BMT and IND signs. Saddly those are way out of my price range.
