  1. No one's going to jail, that's why we got hoodies LOL. This is about giving ourselves a name for the foamers, the way we take care of things now doesn't work.
  2. That's still no excuse for the way the "good guys" are acting towards these idiots. Someone in some of these FB groups really needs to pitch the idea of a confrontation. Hit up the foamers and tell them, meet us in whatever park and we'll settle this. I'd be more than happy to take part in that confrontation, even if the groups are stuck on this "let's narc and harass the foamers and that'll definitely stop everything" mentality I'm sure there's enough people out there that are with it.
  3. What they deserve is something along the lines of a confrontation in a park somewhere that ends with them learning who's boss from the good guys. Not to be harassed online by people sitting behind keyboards too pussy to go out and take care of sh*t in person. You guys want to teach the foamers a lesson? Show them who's boss. Again you're making yourselves look weak with the keyboard harassment and narcing, and that makes you easy targets for those people you're narcing on/harassing. If they see who's boss chances are they'll cut it out, if they're being harassed online and narced on they'll keep it up (which they do time and time again and it keeps getting worse as we saw on those 32s).
  4. Again, absolutely not. These people are being HARASSED and that's insane. If the NYPD is legit investigating these dumba*s foamers and they're getting what they deserve from them and them alone, great. The NYPD and MTA did their job and took care of the people who committed a crime against their property. The railfans should absolutely get in touch with these foamers privately and if they want to go as far as to meet up somewhere and confront them, that's all good. But posting sh*t about them on public sites and narcing on them is going too far. See above for how the good honest railfans can take care of these foamers without shaming them publicly or narcing.
  5. I'm starting to feel that this is getting way too crazy. And I'm also well prepared for the sh*t I'm gonna get from some people for saying this, don't care. I've heard from some people (I'm not on FB and I was barely on the train that day not even up front, I barely know anything about what happened to begin with) that the people who have the warrants out were basically snitched on by the other railfans. They include the guy in the back car, the trainsurfer, and the guy who broke the rollsign. The NYPD did launch some investigations yes because of reports at the time by the train crews, but a lot of it was because railfans who knew these foamers snitched on them. The "honest concerned goody 2 shoes" folks gave out the identities of these people to the police (if not directly, then by publicly shaming them on several public websites as I'm about to say) and the world on FB and I believe there have been some posts on Subchat too exposing them. Some people (including the guys who posted the video of the trainsurfer not knowing the implications of doing so) were harassed to the point of cyber bullying, by "honest caring railfans". That's outright NARCING and taking it too far. Yes, they're f*cking with TA property, no I don't condone it and neither should you, but now you have railfans narcing on other railfans/foamers and to me, that's like these "concerned citizens" who don't mind their own business and narc on people they see doing sh*t like smoking pot, throwing parties, vandalizing property. Again, you have every right and in a lot of cases good reason (including what happened on the 32s) to be angry with these people, but mind your own damn business and let the officials do their investigating. You being a concerned citizen/narc gets you nowhere, and narcing like that usually ends up with the narcs getting f*cked up by the people they narced on and their crew. Of course a lot of these railfans/foamers are fake and too pussy to go out and fight like that, but remember these foamers are already doing illegal sh*t for popularity, and I'm sure some of them at least wouldn't be afraid to go f*ck up the narcs. This stuff is gonna lead to more drama down the road and it ain't gonna be pretty. I just wanna say again, I'm not saying anything that went down on those 32s was right. I'm not defending the idiot foamers who did stupid sh*t and give good railfans a bad name. But it isn't my place or anyone else's unless you work for the NYPD or NYCT to (directly or indirectly) narc on others to the police, and it's especially not their place to harass people like that. Let the officials do their job and move on with yourselves. If you have a problem with something other people did take it up with them in person., whether that's a private chat or talking IRL. Publicly shaming them and narcing on them makes you look like the weaker person. If they're being investigated by the law then let the law and the law only do the investigating.
  6. I noticed more options have been added to the touchscreen, guessing fare related stuff since I've seen a video of a Clever Device that had options like that on the screen and it was able to control the fares and basically do everything the Wayfarer does.
  7. I heard... -Foamer surfing on the back -Foamers fighting for the RFW (as usual) -Foamers that smell like sh*t (also as usual) -Foamers kicking regular passengers off the train and probably more that I didn't hear about.
  8. I was talking about yesterday lol. IDK what's up today.
  9. I just rode in the back 1 way from 59th to Woodhaven since I had to go over there anyways. Not one foamer in the back. I really don't get what the point is of all the foamers having to be up front and especially the sh*t that goes down over the damn RFW... get a grip, there's plenty of people getting the same video or whatever. I hit the back RFW and actually get footage that isn't the same crap everyone else is putting up.
  10. I pay $15 1 way to get from NJ to Manhattan. The city has it good with the express fares.
  11. Just got word it's in service right now at 23rd Street. Happy hunting foamboys
  12. And now that the Q10 is all artic they can lose a few 40 footers.
  13. They can't do that because of the different unions. Looks like it's a BP bus, getting ready for their artics coming in I guess.
  14. Probably the snow but it's not even gonna be that much...
  15. That's their AM 139 runs that don't run with Clever Device buses, they've always done that. I guess it could be the run number? But I really don't know...
  16. I noticed that Far Rockaway's buses going for repaint all come back with JFK stickers now. Really looks like FR is going back to just being an annex of JFK.
  17. We deal with it in NJ... hell if you got rid of them there'd be quite a few complaints, the Designlines didn't have them and people on Route 9 weren't happy.
  18. On the buses with Clever Devices it usually shows up right (express). Speaking of that, Academy is still running a lot of buses without them on the 13xs, now that Bustime's rolled out they really should try to do all those runs with Clever Device buses.
  19. 7844-7854 got taken OOS at Main after an in service run a little bit ago because of a "door problem"...apparently it held up a lot of trains too, and I heard the problem had to do with the doors not staying closed all the way while it was moving.
  20. Now that it's obviously been brought back for the 188s I wouldn't be surprised if they used the old one for compatibility...
  21. They can easily open the racks under the bus. They're unlocked in NJ, I would guess all they gotta do is open a lock.
  22. Yup, Coach USA charges $16 for the EWR express and puts people on NABIs and RTSes mostly now. Also we're forgetting all the hybrids are being converted to diesel at MTA Bus. The problem with hybrids built for stop and go traffic running a highway route will be solved, eventually...
