1. As for me I like any Android phone with stock no overlays and skins and NFC. I have the nexus 4 performs very well. Samsung is becoming another Apple. If I were to get another Android device it'd either be moto or nexus 5.

Samsung is not my first pick because touchwiz really derails on providing a good Android experience.

iPhone?? No..... Never.... Don't even get me started with it!!!

Ima guess you like them M8s don't you??? Hmmm... Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

I do actually... I also like being able to juice up my phone (though I believe you can do it on the other lines too, but for some reason the outlets are more noticeable on the New Haven trains). Probably because I ride that line outside of the rush... The one thing that concerns me is how dirty those trains are already. We've had a rough winter but I have the Metro-North cleaning crew gets back to work and starts moping the floors good and cleaning the chairs too. Those trains are what? A year old if that??

Y'all already know how them maintenance crews are.

For this entire month and the last half of February, I've been taking Metro North to work...I feel so spoiled now lol

Funny because I now use the Hudson Line, Harlem and New Haven Line for my tutoring sessions and the only time I enjoy riding is when I'm on the New Haven Line. I think the seats are much more comfortable and offer more leg room.

  4. The 4 express idea won't work since that will skip too many important local stops (i.e 161, Fordham, Bedford Park) There is no point in having the Lefferts A skip only 2 stops. Plus trains are stored on the middle track during the middays. The 7 is not all THAT long. If people wanted a "quicker" ride to upper Manhattan/ Riverdale, they could just take the A to 168 and change to the 1, or even better, ride Metro North. All because there are middle tracks throughout the system does not mean it is practical to run express service. LIRR is overpriced. And the only important stop that the 7X skips is 74th
  5. I'd bring back mostly everything from before the 2010 service cuts except for the (M)

    - SELECT (D) should run Express on Brighton on weekends( (Q)will stay the same.) B should run 4th Ave(Express) to Coney Island on weekends from 145th Street. SELECT (D) trains will continue to operate on 4th/West End Line

    How about that?

No, I believe 1760 got into an accident during the beginning of NICE. You can see this video, 1760, last day of LIB, still has the stripe:

Yes, they need to take the Sleepy's ads off. Maybe with half the ad on there, they get half the revenue ;)

Oh so that's what happened to 1760. So you want NICE to lose money?

There are a few other Orion V CNGs with an all white from. The MTA had wanted to whiteback the Orion V CNGs before the changeover. It's mostly the '04 CNGs with this though.

Yea. That's what I was trying to say. The (MTA) was trying to make the the front and back of the Orion 5s white for the attempted new (MTA) bus livery. Which by the way the 1800s were the first everf to have this theme.

Again, my responses are not "fantasy" far from it.

I gave other reasons why, but I guess you are selectively reading my posts....

Part of it is to simply the system and make transfers easier too.

I wanted the (J) station for a transfer to the (G)...this could help during GOs of the (L) line and (M)......I always felt that there should have been a transfer there anyway. This would give Williamsburg residents more options as well as give some (G) riders another means of getting to Manhattan other than the (A)(C)(E)(M) or (7).

In the process, why not make Lorimer/Hewes into one station with that connection? (right on top at Union AV).

For Beverly and Cortelyou, just one station serving both streets....Beverly is literally a long block away from Cortelyou at this point. It doesn't make sense. In the meantime, perhaps a bigger station with more stairs.

I wanted a (D) station at 7th av because of the population and a somewhat large gap between stations from 36th to 9th av. But again, that station physically might not be possible since I have posters who presented physical EVIDENCE saying why that would be problematic rather than saying "it's too expensive" not only changing the subject, but with jack to back it up.

I started a topic about a transfer btwn the (J) and the (G) last year. It wouldn't work because there isn't much ridership.

  9. I saw 1833 last week or this week and It's still not wrapped.

    <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Brett" data-cid="629476" data-time="1357533666">

    1760?

The explaination for the white front is because the (MTA) tried to put their new stripeless front just like the 1800s mainly 1801-1839. They did it on 1664.

    <<blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Joel Up Front" data-cid="629916" data-time="1357626208">

    That's what I thought, too.

The weird thing is I never ride the '09 NGs with the LED lighting inside (1760-1799), but every week a newly painted one will pop up on near a route I ride. The least NICE could do is remove the remains of the Sleepy's ad on the front.

Word.. those SLEEPY'S ads are quite old and annoying. <_<
