i noticed the luminators they are somewhat like before bolder.I guess someone should have started this thread, so I did. Sticky it?
Random Thought:
Just passed by it, 1747 had a breakdown at Douglaston Pkwy and Northern Blvd, heading towards Flushing. It was pulled over at the bus stop.
And 1631 looks like it had it's destination sign changed. The font looks bolder.

Fastrack was not created by the MTA itself for all its division. It was created by NYCT.
Plus there is no need for Fastrack. Metro-North and LIRR got things under control. TBH most of MNCRR looks totally up-to-date. Except the NEC.
true that.

i'd wonder what it be like if they put FASTRACK on the LIRR/Metro-North

we should be on the look out for new bus stop signs now that there are service changes and some new routes

It's not the same woman MTA had programmed ,that always announces "route number, next major stop..etc" It's now a man.
i wonder why the other buses dont have it. i saw 1836 on the N4 and it had the woman voice when the doors open "route n4 freeport'

I think instead of the boring Red LEDs they have on M7s, they shoul have it so it can change colors depending on the rout it takes!
Ex. instead of reading Babylon, it could read Babylon!
...
They should also have comfy M3 seats instead of horrible rock M7 seats.
but it should also have head rests;)

This photo was taken by Anthony Maimone. The car was R-160A-2 (Alstom, 2005-2008, 5 car sets) 8653. No doubt it was my most favorite train ever. We will get them back soon. The NTTs (B Div.) [Excluding the R110B], were first put on the . The First R160A in service was put on the . I will never forget this train, and I hope to see it in the near future, depending on where they put the R179s.
SAY MY 1ST r160 ride was on the in 11/2006

N22L will still exist but be rerouted. The N6L will be eliminated.[/quote
oh i meant n6x

you know the goal of this operation was to keep service the same. but this is going to service cuts. you know might as just keep as the operator it would of been the same.

The problem is nice promised the public no services eliminated, but on top of that they are creating more services.
One example is thee N22.
If NICE puts new service, then well this will be the following
N22: Local Service Between Hicksville and Jamaica
N22A:Local service via Roosevelt Field and Jamaica
N22L: Limited Service between Hicksville and Jamaica
N22X: Operates between Hicksville and and Jamaica Non-stop from Roosevelt Field to 179 street subway station
Thats just overkill for one route number, dont you think?
the n22L is being changed in favor of the n22xaccording to the site.
a new route already being changed.
the n6L is gonna be eliminated in favor of the n6X
although the n2/n8 loop route is pretty smart
also adding n43 service to the Hempstead Terminal

i'm still surprised that they still have not replaced the bus stop signs or at least seal over the MTA logo
but I did see an n62 bus stop sign and it said:
n62
S Freeport Loop
NOTE these were ONLY stickers taped over the N62 S. Freeport Loop
im surprised they didnt tape over the MTA logo. thats probably the new signage thats going to take place.
I did put this in another topic under NICE
but i decided to bring it up here
