just some info, I am #17 of the folks that either cleared medical or re instated their name on the list I am list number 410-420 range. Some promos are on that list too. not sure how many are behind me on this reinstated/cleared list. Just wanted to put that out there.

spoke to the liaison today and she said there are 50 spots for April 29th class.

I don't remember any eye chart. Just a machine.Although January was 4 months ago.

mine said that to when i went back in jan. just a dt and they eye exam isn't to indepth. They have passing marks not sure when glasses are needed though.

the preinterview is a drug test and they give you a small form with a few pages to fill out at home. They will call you to come back if the drug test is negative for the medical and all the above mentioned. And at that time they take your finger prints. sorry it is a 21 page packet. not small. damn kindle.

Seems to me you are the sensitive one. And you mention know it all's often. Usually the ones that don't like know it all's are the biggest know it all's. Seems to be the issue here. Last thing, it's not the stupid crap in the field that would bother me. I have been a Foreman in heavy construction for many years. wondering if you got a letter after getting your score notice. Second notice would have been you had been cleared for education and experience. Those went out 2years ago maybe. look back in this topic and you will see the date. If you didn't receive 2 notices then it sounds like you might be out of luck. Not sure but check back and check all notices from DCAS.

Call 511 and follow prompts for subway and buses. Them employment center. Thats all I got. Hope it helps
