  1. They need some spare units in case any of them break down at any moment, hence why you see more units than what are normally used in service.
  2. The bus just happened to be there as the car smashed into the rear of the bus as it was running out of control.
  3. It was only there on loan, with 5 other units that already returned to Brooklyn. And no, we're not getting new LFS at this time.
  4. It must of broke down doing a regular run. It should be running in a few days as nothing serious happened to the unit. Both depots got buses from Yukon to supplement the shuttle. Also, ENY, Flatbush and Gleason are going to help out with the shuttle. So far, Quill isn't sending anything to Brooklyn for a two month shuttle.
  5. 6579-6582, 6584, 6586 FP to ENY. I'm not sure if 6583 and 6585 are at ENY, can someone confirm that?
  6. They're on Metropolitan Ave trips, so they look to be Grand Ave units like you said.
  7. A move given that Fresh Pond needs buses for local buses and the shuttle bus. Side note, 4004 is at Fresh Pond from Yukon.
  8. The R143's were only made by Kawasaki. The R142's on the and Lines are Bombardier cars.
  9. Most likely a loan to support more passengers as the CPW Trains are out of service.
  10. 4567 wasn't one of the units that was sent to Manhattan. 4547 and 4569 are the Grand units at MHV.
  11. Its pretty easy to point the blame on older buses for shortages, but there are times when more newer buses are the ones that can cause shortages either due to mechanical problems or scheduled overhauls and repaints. A lot of times, older buses have to cover bus service.
  12. The whole R32's on the was done for the A/C of the cars at first. Before R32's were used regularly on the , the and swapped most of their fleet (R32's for R46's) during the summer in order to lessen the strain of the R32 A/C units in the hot tunnels. It didn't work well, so the and swap was made in 2013 as a summer swap until 2015 when the fleet circulation was made permanent.
  13. Lol, it already had it when it was an SBS unit at KB. Gun Hill just decided to unwrap the unit for some reason.
  14. Lol, that was one of the 4 ENY units sent to Charleston instead.
