Its been a long time seeing a D60HF on another JFK route as 5556 is on the Q7

Yea, there's one or two runs on the Q10 that interline with the Q7.

Never thought I'd see the day when NJT would start to experiment with those CTHs. I wonder if they'll really save enough fuel to be worth the extra investment. Only time will tell.

Well, they already have D4000Hs, so it was only a matter of time before they decided to try out some Hybrid CTs.

I wonder which depot will 8090 go to? Jamaica or Queens Village

I had a feeling it came from JFK. That one was suppose to return to Yukon after the summer.

JFK is keeping those buses. There's a few that have been relabeled as MTA Bus, one of which is 4130.

The IRT was really screwed up today. trains were going to 137th Street and the was terminating at 125th and Lenox. All because of a rail condition at 135th.

I thought the local Q113 codes stopped working. I'm on one right now

Sometimes, when new codes are added to the ODK, the old codes don't get taken off until the next update.

4899 is back at Ulmer Park after a long term absence

It has been there for a few days now. It was in service yesterday.

Never mind, that was short lived. 9372, 9382, and 9651 all back to QV. They ran on the M9, M21, and M66 today, but are back at QV now.

 

9532 is at CP for some reason. 8829 is also there, as is 9348. I hear 9363 is back to QV from ECH.

 

6169 GA to CA.

Those RTSs at CP are there for either maintenance, paint job, or both.

I thought none of the Bees have bus time. I don't think any of the Bees have the Q114 codes...

164 has been equipped with BusTime.

With the loans gone from Grand Avenue and the Orion Vs gone, is that depot still short?

The loaners were only there because of the shuttle.

Few days ago 8845 went LGA to JA, too. Obviously 8852 from GA as posted, too.

I guess that's to make up for the ones they lost to WF.

WF is short. That's why they have the loaners now.

From what I've heard, WF was short because extra runs were added on certain lines, so they need the 10 RTSs.

4918 & 8852 GA to JA.

GA has no more 99 RTS.

WF has 4968, 4970, 4973, 4974, 4975, 4976, & 4977.

The other day, I was at Jersey Gardens waiting for the 111 to PABT. The line was so long that I had to wait for 3 buses to come before I could get on one. Anyway, I had a strange feeling that a NABI would show up on the 111, and sure enough, 5731 showed up and took me home.

Be prepared for a surprise on the tomorrow.

Say it ain't so that the bees are not set for retirement. Those buses, along with the other Orion Vs that are still making their rounds on the streets of New York City, are the best aged buses in the fleet, right next to the stockpiles that are at GA/FP/QV. The Orion Vs have a few more years left in them, all of them.

You do realize that the ex Bees have been in service for 18-19 years, plus the fact that they ran under a differnet bus company for about 13 years, so yea, they need to go.

As for the Orion Vs from Transit, some of them aren't doing so good, so it's best to retire them now before they get any worse.

Now the will go to 179 next weekend. With shuttle trains operating between Jamaica Center and Union Turnpike...I wonder if the finds will be updated

I remember the last time they did that G.O with R32s. Those were good times.
