  1. The fuel tank of 2001 unit #7560 Orion7 CNG.. Have been expired.. Rather waiting 7560 retiring in 2016?. At least the fuel tank Orion7CNG 7560 only it good up to 14 years. So I hope anyone will able to know when only 7560 will be sent to scrap.. 7560 were built in 2001..

The tanks for 7560 expire next year, which is when the new CNG buses will be expected to start service. All of the Orion 7 CNG buses have 15 year tanks.

  2. Speaking of which, idk why the MTA doesn't extend the 145th St station. There is enough space north and south of the station to extend the station. Maybe it's just laziness or financial problems.

That station should have been closed down a long time ago, but the community didn't like that, despite the fact that 148th is three blocks away.

  3. The Q42 also loops at its last stop and I think the Q113 has something similar.

The destination font on 3630 looks different than other 2006-7 Orion VII's its thinner for some reason. It reminds me of the buses 6490-6699.

A few of the MTA Bus OGs had their sign reprogrammed. There's a few more of them at JFK and BP with the reprogrammed sign.

  4. Then the 34 Street (S)huttle is the only good idea. Here's my plan:

    34 Street (S):

    Runs under name IRT

    5 Car Set of R62's or R142's

3 Track layout (Maybe 4 and one could be a express track).

    Stops:

    34 Street Penn Station (A)(C)(E)

Has layout of Times Square Shuttle Platforms with track 4 connecting to the local track.

    34 Street Penn Station (1)(2)(3)

Has layout of Grand Central Shuttle Platform with track 1 connecting to the 7th Ave Local Tracks.

    34 Street - Herald Square (N)(Q)(R)(B)(D)(F)(M)

Has layout of Grand Central with tracks 1 and 4 connecting to both the (N) local tracks and the (B) tracks, tracks 1 , 2 and 3 end here.

EDIT: Please wait for the rest of the plan - I have to wait 15 minutes before posting the rest of the layout.

Do you realize how deep they would have to dig for this ? Plus, you got to worry about the East River tunnels as well.

  5. What the heck is this G.O. all about? All it looks like is railfan attraction. This doesn't allow much construction to happen either. What is the point of this G.O.?

P.S. It is also aggravating Javier.

They are working on the tubes between Manhattan and The Bronx. One of them is closed off, which is the purpose of this G.O.
