  1. If you really wanna conserve (although it's kinda too late now for some of these).
  2. I don't think that is the MTA's problem. Go ask the government if you really wanna. This is the wrong forum.
  3. Lex won't last! They somehow have to connect it to 125th St. Maybe stop right outside Lex and have the west end connect to Lex?
  4. to Grand Central shuttle, 20 minute service via 7th Av. to Times Square, skipping 49th St b/d. Brighton-Whitehall/Court. Bay Ridge-Whitehall/Court. suspended. via 8th Av local and Culver, switching into shortly after. via 8th Av and West End, switching into shortly after. express in Manhattan. Nassau.
  5. suspended. Rerouted to New Lots. Rerouted to Utica. Late nights to Atlantic.
  6. Without Phase 2, SAS is literally almost useless. UES needs the extra service. The problem isn't coming from the south, it's the north. You have to connect it to Lex, otherwise SAS won't be much of a use, as Bronxians will continue to crowd Lex.
  7. The f***? All service suspended. Extra buses to help carry load, but recommended that everybody stays home.
  8. You have a complexity level of over 9000. Average? About a thousand or two. Most people don't have as much of an interest in transit as much as us. That means they will rely on maps and asking the employees random and stupid questions about service. Do you want passengers to get even MORE confused? You have one to Forest Hills, but another to 96 St-UES?! This is why the split has been phased out (among other reasons).
  9. You know for sure it will never ever happen, so why do you suggest it?
  10. What's wrong with College Point? I just checked it on Google Maps.
  11. I was on the C40LF 631 Q25 this morning. At around 7:35, the dispatcher literally started screaming because they were looking for 632. Then, few minutes later, saw an Orion 7 Q17 shining lights, saying "EMERGENCY" "CALL POLICE". I peered in, it was just trying to run away from something and skipping all stops. It had passengers. What is this supposed to mean?
  12. I forgot to make a comment about this, but 2 weeks ago, I went on a trip and the bus went on Jackson Av. Just noticed the fact that the makes an S curve around Jackson Av. Saw in the video the 3 trains.
  13. Okay. Question answered. Now since when was Hudson Yards a name of the neighborhood? Oh, whatever.
  14. Besides, it'll get delayed by that switch at Lexington Av-63rd St. If you don't somehow connect it to the Lex, then it won't be much use at all. SAS will only be for those coming from the South, Bronx will continue to crowd the and not be helpful at all.
  15. Expect R160B 9399 to be as smelly as hell. If not, Jamaica did a real nice job cleaning it last night. Some crazy homeless bum screamed out random words and hid in the corner. A real bitch, I tell ya.
  16. Suspended no service between Whitehall and W4th St. Local. via . Essex. 86th St. Select to Grand Central. shuttle. Grand Central.
  17. Dude, seriously, what the heck are you doing? You make up senarios, not scramble random service changes without reason.
  18. Let's see.... Routes coming south onto Main St and terminating can do this instead: Go south onto College Point Blvd, left onto Roosevelt, terminal somewhere, left onto Prince, left onto 39th Av, right back onto College Point Blvd. Can the Q65 do this? Maybe. Now the Q17 and Q27 can maybe go right onto Sandford, left onto Union, left onto Roosevelt, terminate, then go back onto Main and Kissena southbound. Q44 and Q20 back to the Q13/Q16/Q28 loop! Now all that's on Kissena is... um, the Q25, Q34, and Q65? I dunno.
  19. What? Are you replying to posts from 6 years ago again like most New Members do?
  20. Thank Westchester for those broken signs. Unfortunately, there is nothing Corona can do about it. Yup, took the last Sunday, on an R188. Saw the patched up 34th St-Hudson Yards. BTW Why is it called Hudson Yards? If it is the neighborhood, I get it, but I don't think it is.
  21. If people get paid to do these announcements, then no wonder the is off budget.
