  1. 9444 is scrapped already. It was at Eastchester being stripped in April 2016
  2. Which was converting the shaft from escalator/elevator use to only elevator use, iirc.
  3. That was me, and I assumed that because it was not off the 7/11 transit roster. Apologies for any confusion.
  4. Do you mean 4573? 4571 was never paired with 4572. Interesting how one of the museum R42 cars is connected to revenue service R32 cars.
  5. Figured; someone posted a better image.
  6. There is a picture of the new Local/Express sign going around. I don't know if the set that "Tech and Transit" mentioned is the one pictured here. IMO the sign looks nice but they could have done something with the number sign.
  7. Would this be the right roster for the R62As (I copied this from a quote, hence the weird font/background)? 1651-1825 - Westchester 1826-1830 - 240th 1831-1840 - Westchester 1841-1900 - 240th 1901-1910 - Corona , singles (except 1909, which is scrapped) 1911-1925 - Westchester 1926-1960 - Some at Livonia as 3/4-car sets, some at Corona (singles) 1961-2090 - Westchester 2091-2095 - Corona - will be transferred 2096-2155 - Westchester 2156-2475 - 240th I heard that 2071-2075 were also transferred.
  8. Stormville, NY. Type in "MTAPD K9 Stormville" and you should get videos that show parts of some buses. I'm wondering if that or 104 is the unit that has its front number painted over in blue paint.
  9. You are confusing it for Corona. Would this be the right roster for the R62As (I copied this from a quote, hence the weird font/background)? 1651-1825 - Westchester 1826-1830 - 240th 1831-1840 - Westchester 1841-1900 - 240th 1901-1910 - Corona , singles (except 1909, which is scrapped) 1911-1925 - Westchester 1926-1960 - Some at Livonia as 3/4-car sets, some at Corona (singles) 1961-2080 - Westchester 2081-2085 - Corona - will be transferred 2086-2090 - Westchester 2091-2095 - Corona - will be transferred 2096-2155 - Westchester 2156-2475 - 240th
  10. Turns out C40LFs 942 and 978, and ex-Bee Line Orion 5s 104, 177, (and one more unidentified unit) were saved from scrap and put into the K9 academy.
  11. You need several privatized railroad companies too, lol.
  12. Forgot to correct Westchester to Livonia (for the ) and 1836-1840 to 1826-1830 1651-1825 - Westchester 1826-1830 - 240th 1831-1840 - Westchester 1841-1900 - 240th 1901-1910 - Corona , singles (except 1909, which is scrapped) 1911-1925 - Westchester 1926-1960 - Some at Livonia as 3/4-car sets, some at Corona (singles) 1961-2065 - Westchester 2066-2085 - Corona 2086-2090 - Westchester 2091-2095 - Corona 2096-2155 - Westchester 2156-2475 - 240th
  13. 1651-1835 - Westchester 1836-1900 - 240th 1901-1910 - Corona , singles (except 1909, which is scrapped) 1911-1925 - Westchester 1927-1960 - Some at Westchester as 3/4-car sets, some at Corona (singles) 1961-2070 - Westchester 2071-2085 - Corona 2086-2090 - Westchester 2091-2095 - Corona 2096-2155 - Westchester 2156-2475 - 240th If 1836-1840 are on the , have their LEDs been removed?
  14. That's probably temporary, so I'm not accounting for that.
  15. Would this be the correct assignment of the R62A cars at this time? 1651-1840 - Westchester 1841-1900 - 240th 1901-1910 - Corona , singles (except 1909, which is scrapped) 1911-1915 - 240th , but will be transferred to Westchester 1916-1925 - Westchester 1927-1960 - Some at Westchester as 3/4-car sets, some at Corona (singles) 1961-2075 - Westchester 2076-2085 - Corona 2086-2090 - Westchester 2091-2095 - Corona 2096-2155 - Westchester 2156-2475 - 240th I am not taking to account any temporary assignments, besides 1911-1915 on the .
  16. It is not necessary - there is a 1997 model (which is the same as the 1999 model) that is being preserved.
  17. Alright. I was assuming that because 5699 was still on the Depot roster of the 7/11 transit Wiki.
  18. What happened to D60 5540? Also, 5699 is off the scrap list.
  19. If there's a timer, service is being slowed down. Don't hope, lol.
  20. Forgive me if this has been asked, but are all Baisley Park units being transferred to JFK? It seems that way, given the recent buses that have been delivered to JFK. Of course, I cannot be certain on this.
  21. Good point; the R142s were delivered by rail too (and were made by Bombardier), and much more recently than the R62As.
  22. Might be like how the R62As were delivered (I'm not so sure about how the logistics would go about in the city though - would they use SBK tracks if they really were delivered by rail?).
  23. I did hear the NYC Bus units were out of service for quite a bit (6033/6267). I guess this confirms the source.
