  1. fYou know what, if anyone asks a question, logical or not, let's just answer it. I'm getting tired of this shit happening everyday.....
  2. Sigh....... if anyone (including Javier) asks a question, let's just answer it. It's getting too old for this bs... And if we can't really answer a question for specified reason, let's just tell the person we can't give the answer away for that reason.....
  3. Nope. It's too late. The way it is set up, it will always be a terminal.
  4. Either those sets were just sent to the , or Westchester was to lazy or ignorant to remove those maps.I also saw an R62A without led that still had maps a while ago.
  5. Reroutes, delays, extra service, emergencies, replacements.
  6. And how can that happen? There are no crossovers between local and express tracks between 125th Street and 42nd Street.
  7. Not really....The trains end at City Hall. If a was to come in at the same as a if it was express at Canal Street, the two lines would have to wait for one to pass for the other to terminate. If a was waiting at the express tracks, that would mean that the and would have to wait for the to go, causing delays. Let's not forget 125th Street. The crossovers would have all the lines delayed because they are waiting for one train to pass for the other line to continue it's route.
  8. The was meant to be a local in Manhattan. Plus, the delays at city hall if it were express in Manhattan.
  9. My fault. But yeah, it would be a miracle if we can find someone that would like an el in NYC.
  10. He probably meant it used the express track at 207 street to skip 207 Street.
  11. Lance is right. Let Javier be Javier and just move on. There's nothing you can do about it.
  12. It's not that we (or more specifically I) don't understand, but if a subway car is not struggling to live like the remaining R42s, then there is no need to worry about what line gets what fleet. And even with the R42s, there is nothing we can do about them without the R179s arriving first.
  13. Even if the extension was completed, it would take years for the R188 contract to finish before CBTC can start. And why add more unnecessary R188s when we have the cars needed for now?
  14. Those guys are about 15 years old. I think it's time to get rid of some.
  15. Does anyone think or can confirm if the orion bee lines retired yet?
  16. No between 168 street and 59 street. runs between 21 street and Coney Island every day except late nights. is suspended. No between 161 street and 59 street. is extended to Euclid Avenue. Shuttle buses run between Yankees Stadium and 125 Street station, stopping at 155 street, 145 street, 135 street, and 125 street and St. Nicholas Avenue.
  17. I know it's unnecessary but will the joekorner website ever update the IRT roster this year?
  18. Alright let's get this straight... 7211-7590 are getting upgraded to R188s for usage. Most of (if not all of) 7591-7665 will be kept on the . Any remaining R142/As are kept on the and . End of discussion.
  19. Well for a person who lives in Yonkers, I know it would be stressful to get up and go to school in Brooklyn. It's hard enough for me when there were very few times I had to take the (or when I miss the )from Chinatown to the concourse to go to school.
