In the public libary in Queens, directly underneath the basement where the bathrooms are is the QBL line, and everytime a train passes through the whole entire libary shakes.
I'm not saying that, I'm saying 179 St is a great terminal and is wasted. I mean look, we use the tracks from Briarwood all the way to 179 St to store up R160s and R46's.
The interior sign's looks a lot similar to the ones on the R110A, with more space, but with the use of the R160 LED components.
The exterior signs however look like the ones on the R143's.
How is that overkill? It's certainly better then having the Bronx Zoo at Forest Hills with relaying and trains.
North of Forest Hills the and can remain express while the and run local, this way you don't have that diverging mess at Forest Hills, plus you save a transfer from the to the . The can split off fine to Jamiaca Center, have the run express from Briarwood to Jamiaca 179 skipping 169 in both directions. and run local all the way.
We have a great terminal, why not use it?
A major terrorist organization has taken out important sections of the subway system. The following are affected:
Times Sq-42 St
Coney Island Stillwell
125 St (both Lenox Broadway and Lex)
Bowling Green
South Ferry
Sheepshead Bay
Jamiaca-179 St
These points are in accesible and will take at least 5 months to fix. What do you do?
Odd question;
If the R211's are to replace the remaining R44's and R46's in the subway system, then does that mean that all the following lines will receive new techs?
IND Rockaway Shuttle
SIRR
8 Av
6 Av
Broadway
So in my creative mind I thought of a new service idea!
Option 1:
The Loop from Jamiaca Center to...well Jamiaca Center.
Route; normal route to Essex St, then via Chrystie St connection to 6th Av, runs via 6 Av local, then via 53rd St, then via Queens Blvd local to Kew Gardens, then via the to Jamaica Center.
Cons;
You would have more of a mess at Forest Hills.
Option 2:
The Loop from Middle Village to Jamiaca Center.
Route; normal route to Forest Hills then via the all the way up to Jamiaca Center.
Cons;
You would have to switch the to 179th St as a terminal and have the be the new service at Jamiaca Center.
You would have three terminals for the .

Service Change Posted: 10/25/2016 8:07PM
Due to a rail condition at 14 St, the following service changes are in effect:
Southbound F Subway and are running express from 42 St-Bryant Pk to W 4 St-Washington Sq.
There are no M Subway trains between Forest Hills-71 Av and Delancey St-Essex St, take E SubwayF Subway and R Subway train service as an alternative.
71 Av-bound M Subway trains are running on the J Subway line from Delancey St-Essex St to Chambers St and terminate.
Expect delays in A SubwayB SubwayC SubwayD SubwayE SubwayF SubwayJ SubwayM Subway and R Subway train service in both directions.
Allow additional travel time.
A train derails and damages all of the tracks at 36th St in Brooklyn. No trains can pass through 36th St and it will take at least 5 months to fix. What do you do?
Question how exactly is this going to relive congestion on Lex if riders are coming from THE BRONX. Basically, people coming from Brooklyn are going to be able to use Second Avenue easily, but what about people from the Bronx? Are they going to ride down to 59th St just to take the back up to 96th St?
A major tsunami has taken out the 60th St, 63rd St, 14th St, Clark St and Montague tunnels. The damage will take at least a month to fix. What do you do?
Yes and even Montague still has it's ups and downs. Eastern Divison equipment (except for the 143's and 160's) are still banned from there due to clearance issue's which is why we don't have the running to Prospect Park anymore.
