There is at least one set of R62As running on the 4 to Woodlawn. Left 86 St a few minutes ago and should be at 42 St/14 St by now.
I'm guessing it should be in the Bronx sometime around 4:30?

I apologize for the long delay. I was hit by a car (hit and run) while crossing the street so I'm getting back to things kind of slow. I'm actually supposed to be off for a week minimum but this post is days late so I'm going to try to keep everyone updated anyway.
I was able to confirm some preliminary assignments for the fleet. There is going to be more shuffling and loaning.
GH is now scheduled to get 5 more XD60's in addition to the ones they have now. The temporary and current assignments for MTA bus are as follows. (NOTE: They literally changed yet again overnight)
6044-6092 (even units) to LG
-6032, 6034, 6046
6094-6116 (even units) to JK
-6030, 6036, 6038, 6040, 6042, 6112, 6122
Gleason now has 742-808. 809 and 810 are on the way and delivery for that depot will be complete. After that, 677 and 678 will follow for WF.
Now for the XN60's we have some preliminary changes. The B35 is officially being evaluated for SBS, and the Bx6 could see a similar fate as the B46 did. If ridership does not pick up to what MTA deems artic levels the line may not go full artic or even artic at all outside of a few trips.
1000's look like they will now be alternative fuel buses, and or alternative fuel artic's. So if the new numbers will be 1016-1125, it appears that 1001-1015 could be XDE60's and all electric artic's. The LFSAE, BYD-60, and XE60 are all being evaluated.
Holy shit man, hope you're feeling alright!

I'll just say that I'm really digging the ability to attach files straight to the forums!
Why didn't that feature already exist?

A Division moves:
* 7086-7115: Jerome Av to White Plains line
*7611-7655: Westchester to Jerome Av.
Knew there was a reason why those Westchester sets were on the (4), I see this is somewhat long-term.
Is Westchester gaining anything or is Unionport losing anything in this move?

Lots of updates coming. New XD assignments, and there is an XHE40 demo on the property right now.
Interesting. Any new news on 5439 or the LFSAs?

Is this the same "5439" (just wrapped) or an actual new "5439" wrapped?
Same one

How Is The Upcoming Train Service Change On October 7-9 From Grand Central To Flatbush Av Going To Work There Isn't Really An Yard For Serive Besides Livonia Yard Are Trains Going To Use Train Cars
When the GO starts, there will still be a decent amount of R142's on the line.
It was the same case back in July when the was only running from 86th Street to Flatbush. They had enough R142 cars on the line and the didn't borrow anything that weekend.

I spotted R142A 7636-7640 in service on the , but still has strip maps. I'm assuming this is a loaner.
#7620-7616 and #7641-7645 were also on the but they had strip maps. I'm guessing #7636-7640 will either go back to the or stay on the .

So then WF only needs 678. 735, 736, and 739 to finish their order (673-677, 679-734, 737-8, 740-741 make 64 buses + 677 is currently OOS)

Why? M86 is good where it is.

I'm guessing the higher ups want all more SBS routes to be run out of MJQ. Also, I take it the M31 will be moving to OH like it was mentioned earlier somewhere on the forums?

Either Electric Zoo or Governor's Ball. One of those two events occurs around this time of year.
It's Electric Zoo. Gov Ball is in June. Guessing then that the x80 will be running until the 3rd when the Electric Zoo ends

For some reason, the Q24 and Q56 schedules are shown from 2014.
Disregard. They have fixed the glitch, but both schedules are still from last year.
IDK if it still is up on the website, but the Bx23 timetable displayed is from Fall 2010 (the very first one).
Some of the Manhattan schedules on the site are also ones from 2014 to 2016. The M5 schedule currently showing is the 2014 one.

Weird is not the word. It's CONFUSING.
I'm trying to figure where these XD60's will be used for?.
shuttle part 2?
B38?
Does the first part of the shuttle end this weekend?
Yep, Saturday September 2nd. The fall pick is the 3rd (IIRC) so It could make sense if they started to run on that day.

I'm guessing GA will be using some of their XD60s soon... and that GH will probably send their new XD60s over to GA?
This XD60 order just keeps getting weirder by the minute...

The Bx6 SBS schedule is out, effective September 3rd.

Have we ever debunked whether or not these cars really have those goofed up strip maps?
Those cars don't. I passed through all the cars on the 7621-7625 consist a few days ago (I was trying to get to the front of the train) and the strip maps were all normal.

6113 is doing a Bx22. run right now so it's official.
They've both hit service at this point so both moves are official.

Unplanned Subway Service Changes

That was an understatement...
I had the pleasure of getting stuck in this mess and being late to class, the delays reached as far as the Bronx...
My ran local in the Bronx instead of express (which was fine since that happens occasionally) but we were held at 161st Street for 10 minutes, and again at 145th for 20 minutes when the conductor said we would be going on the line. We made local stops along CPW, got stalled at 81st Street for 20 minutes, again at 59th for 5 minutes when the conductor said we would be going on the 6th Avenue line again, went one stop to 7th Avenue, and got stuck for another 30 minutes. I finally gave up and walked to 49th Street to catch the (R). On my way to Union Square, I saw a on the express track probably heading to 96th Street. A 50 minute commute ended up taking two hours, and I think my conductor also mentioned a power outage at Rockefeller Center.
