  1. i'll keep an eye on it anyways just to see if the B/o's trying anything its like half way to the split now anyways
  2. Okay its 10:30 am and there a random X17j that just left Huguenot http://bustime.mta.info/#x17j it is moving fast Bus #4327
  3. I removed it took like a week before the xd60 on the q10 could be found on bus time The LFSA were originally for the q12 and the q44 that's why CS has so many but if I'm correct there problems with turning buses around at the eastern terminal of the q12 and that why we don't see artics on that line. But I am glad they're trying again
  4. Although the q44 is now in artic route, it is still pretty common to see short buses on the line. There's usually 1 or 2 every day on that line. As for why ... My guess is when CS got their artics, these artics take up more space than normal 40ft buses, so now they are usually short on buses. So they either A) use short buses on the q44 or B) they get buses from Jamaica which they been doing both recently
  5. also 2 xd 40s on the Q32 and 1 xd 40 on the Q31
  6. Wait I know this is a bit random but speaking about express buses why aren't the MTA buying MCI's anymore?
  7. I would have transferred To another express bus to save money but whatever pleases you is fine
  8. For the case of fare beating I always have my ticket but the amount of times they forget to collect a ticket from me is absurd the only time they even collect a ticket form me is is a get on at a terminal stop all the other times they go right past me before I have a chance to give them my ticket
  9. Maybe not subway price but express price would be nice and make more sense That pretty much prove my point cause the MTA will try to do anything to make extra money since the city ticket is cheaper residents which choose a city ticket and I'm pretty sure the railroads aren't funded by the city but the state and another thing I notice is the railroads segregate New Yorkers from people who live outside the city over there it their only option is some cases and the price is worth the distance they travel but her in the city I should not be paying 10.50 to go from woodside to flushing which is 1 stop. Idk about the MNR but I do know that the LIRR prices are way higher than they should be in queens and Brooklyn and most people because of that just use the subway and bus
  10. The MTA will do any this they can to make a few extra dollars even at the discomfort of city residents think of the ppl who live outside of NYC when they hear of "City Ticket" they must have though it was unfair
  11. People seriously do that? That negates the whole purpose of the rail road and the fact it adds way too much time to their commutes
  12. True but like I said there are already. 3 lines that operate in Nassau from NYCT and another 4 from MTAB so it's possible for more NYCT lines to go to Nassau especially when there is no NICE bus running parallel to those lines and if you want to talk about how those lines "skim the border" check the Q111
  13. NYCT buses already do serve Nassau, and NJ MTAB busses serve Nassau (those routes go in really deep), and Yonkers If a New York City bus can serve another state it can serve another county
  14. Speaking of NICE MTA buses should be allowed to go to Nassau when there aren't any NICE alternative like Q30 and Q46 ( yes I know the Q46 goes briefly in LI but I'm taking further down the road
  15. weird I wonder why its on the map then cause apparently the "transit app, Bustime, and google maps all agrees that the bus stops there yet no ones ever seent it ...
  16. I got the the departure times from the App called "Transit," yeah thats why it sounds a bit confusing
  17. On the X1 line there is a stop code 404823 @ CENTRE ST/BROOME ST and I never seen buses go that way, however on the transit app the buses that do go there depart the transit center at 8:12, 8:18, 8:30, 1:35, 2:35. Would someone care to explain if they do it, and why they do it, thank you.
  18. I think the reason they are wrapping the 62a over the 188 are because 62a warps generate more money, because they do they inside as well, The NTT's have never done interior ad wrapping yet, but I like the fact they are ad wrapping the 62a trains, cause for some reason I always notice there are less ppl on 62a trains every time I ride. Now w/ the ad wrap train they get about the same amount of people compared to a 188
  19. I always ride the QM4 whenever I can especially during midday or mornings cause the bus just ends up becoming a taxi, I get them to drop me off where the X51 used to go. But I can tell the B/O's get pissed off cause they were hoping for an empty run and I get on at the last stop. Why does the QM3 have such horrible service all the other rush hour buses have like more than 5 departures. The QM3 should be running it from like 6:00 to like 9ish
  20. If any one has noticed the qm21 either on the same X63 route or very close proximity to it. Honestly I don't think it's horrible because it give some riders a shorter wait time and has longer operating hours especially in the PM hours. Furthermore it takes the highway on its PM trip which is more appealing to the average customer. When I see the QM21 and X63 I thing of the QM7/QM8 or the QM1/QM5, sure the QM1, QM7 and, QM21 get less people than their counterparts, but they also cover less surface. The main reason I think we still have the QM21 is the same reason we have QM7 and QM1
  21. I was talking about these Were you all serious?
