As of November 27th (the last time I observed the A line)

    1. 4060-4069 (Pilot Set)

    2. 4130-4139

    3. 4110-4114+4129-4125 (First Production Set to return)

    4. 4100-4104+4120-4124 (Second Production Set to return)

Have not observed any new sets burn-in testing.

While I am unable to confirm the status of the R-211T it seems quite implicative that it will run in service very soon. I was told that this month was when it was supposed to debut but so far there is no further word and the month is almost over.

It’ll probably be your Christmas present

So, ig they take em to CIY to get their issues fixed...got it. This set might be next in line for service

CI should have inspected the gear boxes WAAAAY before sending the R211s over to Pitkin Yard for training and revenue operations. If not then they wouldn’t have this problem right now. The only problem I see in today’s era is human errors. (Stop looking at your phone when in class. Your safety is more important than your electronic device).

    (N) Astoria - CI:  Broadway/4 Av Exp via Sea Beach

    (R) 71 Av - 95 St:  QBL Lcl via 60th - Broadway/4 Av Exp stopping at 45 and 53 Sts via vanshookenragen’s  proposed switches.  (R) would go via Manhattan Bridge.

    (W) 96 St/2 Av - CI: Broadway/4 Av Lcl via Montague St/West End

In here Queens Bound trains go Broadway Express, 2 Av Trains via Broadway Local. This can be done via 57 St/7 Av Flip. Queens needs more Manhattan/Brooklyn Express service. That’s coming from one who dwells in Queens.

    (Qorange) 71 Av - Brighton Beach: QBL Lcl via 63rd - 6 Av/Brighton Exp

If you haven’t noticed; 4 Av now has full coverage.

And please explain how am I wasting money having 2 (C) trains branch out north? Doesn’t the (A) do that in Queens? Doesn’t the (5) do that in The Bronx ?

The <5> is one way during peak hours for trains heading directly to the 239th St Yard. And there are only 5 trips up WPR. The (5) during the peak hour is more frequent than the (2). So that’s why they had that since the 1960s.

the (A) is actually 2 train lines of old. The (H) was actually the Rockaways Line, and it still is.

In other words 50 St becomes an express stop?

So it wouldn’t be possible to run (A)(C) together via 8 Av/ Fulton St Exp, with (A) to Lefferts and (C) to Rockaways? Not even have (A)(C) go 8 Av Exp with (A) to Lefferts or Rockaways via Fulton St Exp and (C) to Euclid via Fulton St Lcl?

    I assume both in either proposal would have to exceed 26 TPH… I can see (A) 15 TPH (C) 15 TPH, a total of 30 TPH…

    Not quite, (B) would go to 205, absorbing the (D) , (C) would become the current (B) uptown-wise. Regarding CPW-Broadway connection… well then if it can’t be done; can we add more (C) trains? Thus CPW would go as follows;

    (A) unchanged

    (B) 205 -CI: Concourse/CPW/6 Av Exp - Brighton Lcl

    (C) BPB/168 - WTC: All local (24 TPH - 10 going to 168 14 to the Bronx)

    (D) Discontinued

If you’re gonna discontinue the (D), what line are you’re gonna run on the 4th Ave line? That’s something you gotta think about. You can’t have 2 (C)s operating from 2 different branches. You’re wasting money by doing that.

Let's also not forget the R143 strip maps changing from only the (L) route and stations to including that along with the (J)/(Z) route and stations.

They were also used on the OPTO (M) Route as well from 2001-2007 until the first R160As were assigned to the (J) & (Z) line

Finally, all though the mta should’ve studied such features years before the 211’s entered service, it’s kinda too late to introduce such feature “Again”

They can still do that at any time they wish. They can even do that on older NTTs. When R142s 6301-7080 was assigned to the (2) & (5), they had separated strip maps. Now 6301-7130 have the combined (2) & (5) strip maps. On the R160s they introduced electronic ads and yellow poles. Now ALL NTT cars have them. R(142A) 188s introduced ️ and ♦️ in green & red, matching those on the R62As. They’re found in cars 7501-7505+7506-(7927)-7510

there’s a video on YouTube showing a bunch of kids playing around with the lights on an R46, Normal passengers can’t even enjoy a peaceful ride

To elaborate on this, this video was shown to the police by someone in transit. These conquestors (I don’t call them kids) love to disrupt service. The same dude at the end was the one who vandalized the R46 Broadway line.

It's said that ridership is at pre-pandemic level, but the respect to others hasn't changed. For now, there's courtesy campaigns on their digital ads.

I need better results from 2, 4, 7 or 11. These ppl on channel 5 act like “L & O” but this isn’t China or Russia. They can’t control 8,000,000 ppl in NYC and 1/2 take public transportation.

I definitely agree, the A and F need the R211T's

The (F) once the Culver line becomes CBTC, and IF you can get good views of it. Cause in a few years, subway elevated viewing will only be seen by drones

the (A) <A>, consider that done!

So the r211 issue was resolved?

    (1) yes

    (2) testing on lines does not mean that the car is gonna see revenue service on that particular line.
after what happened to the R46s on the Broadway line being vandalized a few weeks ago, they’re not putting newer cars until they see fit
