  1. Man that Bx99 was such a fun route. Limited overnight, flew down the concourse and all.
  2. These are currently the changes I have done. I’m still tweaking some of the routes that are already finished, and I will be taking suggestions as well. Disclaimer: if a route isn’t listed, there’s no changes or it hasn’t been done yet. Q4: Extension into Elmont/Jamaica LIRR Q5: Extension to Jamaica LIRR Q6: to JFK Plaza Q7: to JFK Cargo Q9: Runs via 135th Avenue to Lefferts Airtrain Q10: SBS. Q11: Runs a shuttle between Howard Beach and Spring Creek Park, via Rockaway Blvd Station. Q12: extended to Great Neck Plaza Q13: More rush stops. Q14: Extended to Ridgewood Terminal via Linden Hill Cementary. Q15: Extended to Beechhurst via 10th Avenue/Powell Cove Blvd Q17: SBS. Q21: stays alive, absorbs the Q29 route north of Woodhaven Blvd. Q22: Exploring extension options, will most likely be extended to Five Towns via Inwood. Q25: SBS, local replaced by Q95. Q27: only local sections are between Francis Lewis-HHE, and Murdock Av-120th Av Q28: more rush stops, extended to Fort Totten Park. Q29: May be abolished or changed. Q30: runs overnight to QCC, all week, rerouted via 188th Street as the Q17 local. Q31: Extended all the way up Utopia Parkway, terminates at Fort Totten. Q32: Rush stops in Manhattan and Queens Boulevard. Q34: replaces the Q25 in college point, and the Q23 to LaGuardia Hotels. Q37: replaces the entire Q10 local branch south of Rockaway Blvd. Q40: extended to JFK Plaza. Q41: replaces Q11 Hamilton beach branch. Q42: extended to Jamaica Hospital, and Francis Lewis/Linden. Q43: original second proposal, extended to LIJ. Q45: Extended into Kissena Park. Q50: SBS, full time to Co-Op City. Q51: Original proposal, but no SBS. Q52/53: Both to Woodside. Q75: extended to Great Neck Plaza. Q76: extended further north into College Point. Q78: new route via Bell/Springfield Boulevard into Fort Totten, and into JFK Plaza. Q90: Rush version of the Q60. Q95: Local version of the Q25.
  3. I’m currently compiling the route changes I made in the simulator. Some are purely fantasy, some are sorta realistic, and some were explored or were routes already proposed and liked. The only depot/routes I have to do left is LaGuardia, and Fresh Pond/Grand Avenue.
  4. Very interesting topic, I saw the video, it’s ridiculous what’s going on.
  5. There is 12, once more and more come in, the NGs will get pushed out more and more.
  6. I really like the concept, I’m gonna create some plans for the other boroughs that are awaiting redesigns. (You should rename this to what if Rush/limited redesigns were in every borough, or something like that)
  7. I still think that getting alternate fuel buses will be more useful in the long run. Having a fleet full of electrics will backfire (in my opinion).
  8. The amount of buses on a branch shouldn’t determine the ridership, but hey, I could be wrong.
  9. Where’s the stats on that one sir? I don’t think they’ll lose business, they have the 62. As for the 75/30, Kew Gardens would be a packed terminal, and I’m all for the 75 to be outta KG.
  10. City Bus Manager, they just released an electric bus dlc, game is I believe either 24.99 or on sale at the moment. The Q5 was the only one on this list that was going to be SBS, that got canned. The rest of these won’t really need SBS, you also choose the wrong Guy R route (Q113/114), and honestly the only one that needs a change is the Q6. Bunching out the wazoo and, extremely crowded buses. I used to have a partner that lived in south Jamaica, and seeing all those crowded Q6s makes me believe that it should be an artic route.
  11. I had to look into the 104/105 stuff again, at first glance, I didn’t think it’ll work. I’m very interested in seeing how the under the EL service works for the N/W. the 104, simply cause they cut the 102 in half, in both ways.
  12. Did you think it was necessary to put CBTC on the and ?
  13. It’s a widespread issue. Some depots (like a certain depot in queens) just simply don’t care, while others can’t combat it due to traffic.
  14. Missing runs is indeed the problem, and that’s operator based. When a route goes from running every 5 to every 20 because of three missing runs, and bus operators not being able to work, it sucks.
  15. This is why I don’t dabble into things like this. As someone who works in the company, I’ve grown to understand the issues that you have. But hey, the rider and customer is always right, am I right?
  16. I don’t see any of those routes besides the 82 to convert to artic outta ENY. Once the standards are off the 82, then you can throw more on the 12 and 15.
  17. The redesign, it may be slated for artics, not saying that it will, just a guess. Order XN60s.
  18. We’re also forgetting some other routes. M96, Bx28, Q25, and possibly the Q50, are all possibly slated for artic expansion.
  19. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but just like everyone else who’s commented, we don’t know due to two things.. The Unions/Superintendents at the depots and What company would get what bus line Just because a bus line is closer to a depot, doesn’t mean it’ll get it. Generally, that’s how it should be, but it’s not all like that. For example, the M98, literally drives past 100th, but it’s outta MHV. The Bx40/42 literally drives past WF, but it’s outta GH. Sometimes it’s just not gonna be the depot it literally drives past. We just gotta wait and see.
  20. Yes. Also, late nights out, and more development.
  21. Once again, guesstimate, could easily come outta GA, but we will see once it’s fully implemented.
  22. I dont think they can due to union issues. If they were combined, then ill do a different list soon.
  23. 64 is outta BP, don’t see it leaving, unless if you want 65 interlines. Also, Union stuff. It’s just an estimate. However, QV-Little Neck is around a 10-15 minute deadhead, and Main/Manton is about 20-25. 75 would also easily interline with any of the lines starting at Kew Gardens in QV. I guess this is also a good guesstimate. 45 outta CP wouldn’t work though.
