  1. Quill?! I hope you mean Yukon. 6160 was on the M15 SBS this morning, probably was 6161, but I know it was a 616X
  2. 1256, MCH-KB, on the Bx15 Local (with MCH Decals, and unwrapped)
  3. There's been rumors since the first days CS got LFSAs, that the Q12 would see some artics. So, honestly, the Q12 probably does need them, maybe most of us are just looking at stats rather than being out there to actually see the line, and the crowding, 24/7.
  4. 6160 is confirmed, sorry, I saw your comment on the B-RT thread and I thought it was already in MCH. lol
  5. I can confirm 8196 (S62), I don't know about the other two.
  6. 6127, 6140, 6160, 6193, and 6198 are all on the M15 +SBS+ right now.
  7. Trust, it'll manage, artics go through things that are worse. For example, look at the stretch on the Bx1 between Bailey Avenue and Fort Independence Street, VERY narrow street, can barely even fit a 40fter, but it works.
  8. Think of it like this, if you couldn’t pay $2.75, and a cop pulls up on you, are YOU paying the $400?
  9. Turns/Corners don't really matter for artics, they can make the turn, sometimes they can even make a corner better than a 40Fter. Artics are, 35/25, so technically, you're just driving a shorty, and the back part of the bus follows you.
  10. 6597 is either working a loan or a move to FB, currently on the B46 heading to KP.
  11. I wouldn't be shocked if the other three routes get artics sometime soon, specifically the Bx11, if they continue with the plan. If they continue with the Bx30 to WPR, then I don't see the Bx30 becoming artics, but if the Bx30 stays the same, then seeing GHR with three artic routes (Bx28/30/38) won't be a shock.
  12. They are allowed to stand, I remember i took an SIM26, jammed packed, and the driver allowed such standees to do what they are designed to do, stand.
  13. Swap the Q52 and the Q53, missing the B44-SBS and possibly the local, but besides that, nice spreadsheet.
  14. 599 is currently a loan to LGA, on the Q53-SBS right now.
  15. With KB losing their XD60s to GA and now presumedly WF, you do you guys think that KB would get some new Artics instead of the 12XX hand-me-downs from MCH?
  16. So the Fast Forward meeting was pretty funny, came in late, sadly. But, a girl who came really got her feelings hurt when she wanted to ask a question/talk about fare beating.
  17. I honestly don't think that the Bx12 makes the most money either, even though its the most rode bus line in the city "APPARENTLY".
  18. Well, the Q70 does make the least amount of money for an SBS route....or I could be wrong.
  19. I'm bored, so I thought it would be a good idea to share my thoughts of every Xcelsior that we have, in order of favorite to least favorite. 2012 XD60s: Started the artic Xcelsior, they sound amazing, and they remind me of the D60's a little bit with the way the transmission sounds like on the Allison buses. The ZFs sound well too. Sad to see them leave the Bronx, plus, they are beat to shit too. 2016/2017 XN40s: They sound very unique, and usually I'd favor the artic version of these, but these sound way better, and the hydraulics go crazy on these buses too. 2015 XD60s (ZF): They ride very nice, they are possibly the smoothest sounding Xcelsiors that we have, but they are only in MTA Bus, and there's only 75, so they are usually scarce. They are VERY fast however. 2019 XD60s: The L9s are some very nice sounding engines, besides that, they are basic, unless if MTA Bus gets ZF 2019's. 2011 XD40s: Sounds VERY nice, but, just like the 2012 and 2015 XD60s, kinda scarce, since they are only in one borough, or two depots. They ride very nice though. 2017 XD60s: They sadly replaced the LFSAs in Stengel, which broke my heart, but they remind me of Voith transmission buses (personally, I don't like Voiths, but they sound good.) 2018 XN60s: Eh.......they have some loud ass backfires, but besides that, I'd rather have an XN40. 2015 XD40s:.............................................................................................................................................................GET RID OF THEM They need work, the general consensus probably agrees that they are the worst performing/preferred Xcelsiors in the city, there are moments though, where they sound nice.
  20. Sounds like a lot of contradictory here sir.........
  21. I honestly hope not, but we shall see, it happened at around 8:00 so, maybe it'll come up soon.
  22. The Hub is a horrible terminal, when I went to the GC Meeting, one of the planners said, the 15 and the 125 terminating at The Hub is just a placement basically. I guess after a while, people are going to see that The Hub is a HORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIBLE ....below average terminal.
  23. So this morning, my mom told me a blue LFS got into an accident with a sanitation truck. She also told me that the side of the bus was damn near totaled, sadly, I don't know the number, but it happened on the Bx10. The day before, an MCI on the BxM3 got into an accident with a car, the bus barely looked like it was touched, while the car had a reasonable gash on the side in the front. Luckily, everyone was okay it seems in both accidents, sadly, someone was graduating in the car-MCI crash, so sadly, she should've took the train instead of being driven. lol
  24. I'm one that disagrees with the idea, and always thought that the 27/35 should be combined, and one should be the limited route of the other (Bx35 Limited, Soundview to Washington Heights), but, according to the planners I spoke to, the 35 is really bad, while the 27 is really good, so combining the two, would just make the 27 run like absolute dog s#!t. I still think there should be a route that overlaps the two, and have it run limited, but that's just me.
