  1. As you know Coach USA New Brunswick had to make room for the NABI buses from Academy, so they moved some of their D's to offsite storage. Two side effects to this: one bus (8767) wound up being destroyed by fire in the process, and Coach is now finally starting to run its 2020 cruisers out of New Brunswick. Also, 21015 inspected today. Anomaly to report: 21031 delivered to ADD over the weekend but it's still tracking in Pembina.
  2. As of today the Academy buses are now carrying Suburban Trails legals. They came over in groups of five with one of Coach's D4500CT's ferrying the drivers back and forth from Academy to Suburban. USDOT 31458, NJMVC 57764. Thx to Yue Wu on Facebook!
  3. There's one bus tracking under a unit number in Winnipeg that has a confirmed Pembina VIN. Now I'm confused! And it takes a lot to confuse me.
  4. These buses running the local Middlesex County routes will be going to Coach USA from Academy next week
  5. There wasn't a bid in this case. The board approved the turnover of the routes yesterday. So beginning next week all those Academy NABI's are being turned over to Community Transportation, but will likely operate out of Suburban Transit's New Brunswick garage.
  6. 20884 and 20885 are tracking at CMF so we may see them soon. 20884 in fact was tracking on Rt 25, which is a break-in run for many of the buses.
  7. Meadowlands has gotten the first three of their allotment of 2021 cruisers. 21077-21079 are good to go.
  8. South Jersey may need to transfer buses in from other garages. Right now, the 2021 buses are slated to go to (in fleet number order) Ironbound, Howell, Meadowlands and Wayne.
  9. The buses that are tracking with 16xxx fleet numbers are D4500CT's that are being built in Winnipeg. The 16xxx refers to the last five digits of the VIN (or the unit number), not the NJT fleet number. I think MCI is doing this to distinguish them from the buses that are being built in Pembina.
  10. The only Neos left at Fairview are: 9506-9507, 9530-9531, 9609, 9612-9614, and 9624
  11. The latest chapter in this saga: Academy Express will be turning over the Middlesex County local contract to Coach USA/Suburban Trails.
  12. 20846 and 20848 running 159 which I believe is a Fairview route. Guess with Meadowlands getting the last batch of artics, they can start giving 20845-20849 back to Fairview.
  13. The buses confirmed to be built in Winnipeg so far are 21065, 21068, 21073 and 21077-21086. There are a bunch of others on the horizon. MCI will also apparently be building 2021 D4505's, so some of those serial sequences may already be assigned to some of that model.
  14. MCI's called in the reserves - some of the NJT buses have actually been built in Winnipeg. I revised a bunch of the VINs, which have now been confirmed through bus 21081 which is MCI unit 16101.
  15. Meadowlands is still due 30 lav buses. Those may be on the line now at the factory, as I am seeing some higher VIN numbers than what's being delivered.
  16. 21082 and 21083 (both Meadowlands units) have been delivered to ADD. Also, 21013 (Ironbound) and 21048 (Howell) are in service as of today. 21002, 21007 and 21012 are entering service out of Ironbound this week.
  17. 20886, 20888 and 20889 inspected today - at Hilton Garage. Hmmm.
  18. 16002 is used as a maintenance training bus. It had been running in Academy paint.
  19. 21093 and 21101 are tracking in Winnipeg under their presumed VINs (16113 and 16121).
  20. 21078-21080 just arrived today at ADD. Pic on Facebook of 21078 has sign in front windshield with what looks to be 16098 on it... yep, last five of the VIN. So 21001-21009 are MP016020-16028, and 21010-21080 look to be MP016030-16100.
