Happy 2022. Punch list on the 2021 cruiser order: Still need to confirm Rockland Coaches allocation. Many unmatched VINs and fleet numbers, plus buses are still not registered. 21338 missing 21359 and 21361-21367 still not in service yet 21366-21367 probably have their plates but we'll find out soon Other than that, bring on the 2022's. They have about 40 buses they haven't even broken the seal on yet. They'll probably be transferred somewhere else within Coach, re-inspected (their spec inspections are all lapsed) and registered.

Most of Academy's 21000's are now in service. Leonardo has 21277-21289 and Toms River has 21290-21300 and 21303-21306.

21348, 21351 and 21355 heading to Oradell right now.

George @Gmansports will also need to confirm the VINs on 21364 and 21365. They are ...083120 and ...103589 but I don't know which is which. Thx....

21366 and 21367 inspected today. This leaves only 21338 to get inspected, wherever that bus may be. We're still looking to match fleet numbers to VINs for Rockland Coaches' part of the 2021 order. These 44 buses (21198-21241) are still not registered to my knowledge, and will actually need reinspection since all their spec inspections have now lapsed.

Nine DeCamp cruisers reinspected and replated since September. The numbers are 17079, 17091, 17099-17100, 17108, 17111-17112, 17116, and 17118.

Just discovered yesterday that a bunch of the 21350's were inspected over the course of the last two weeks. We have confirmed all the VINs for 21350-21359. Also a bunch of the 21340's went into service on Monday. 21338 still MIA, as are most of the 21360's. It seems that the trackers on the buses are now not being activated until after the buses have been inspected, which means there's no lookee-lookee at what's at the factory for the time being. Fortunately Justin Liu and Wayne Robinson are keeping an eye on what's coming in to Piscataway so their yeoman work is greatly appreciated.

21340, 21342, 21346 and 21347 are either at or heading to Oradell.

With one inspection yesterday - 21348 - NJT now has all buses in hand with inspections. I reckon the 21340's will hit service soon. Still to hit the property: 21338, 21350-21359 and 21361-21367. Nothing has tracked in Pembina or Winnipeg since before Thanksgiving, so I don't know what's going on at MCI.

Updates: All buses inspected through 21349 except for 21338 and 21348. Nine buses inspected Wednesday, two on Thursday. Highest # bus in service is 21337. Buses 21338, 21350-21359 and 21361-21367 not yet delivered. The Academy buses are all registered. The 2021 Rockland Coaches buses did not show up in the November registrations. Nothing has tracked at either MCI plant for the last two weeks.

Nine buses got inspected in Piscataway today. 21340 got its title and was passed, and 21339 as well as 21341-21347 all passed.

21329 and 21333 now active out of Oradell. All of the white-back buses are now in service at NJT.

Look at the VINs on 21347 and 21348 - 103576 and 103577.... we're definitely sailing uncharted waters now....

Something important to note: Bus 22001 will be the 4000th MCI coach built for NJ Transit.

The last two of the original 334 bus order, 21333 and 21334, inspected today in Piscataway. Hopefully we can get some of the newer ones inspected tomorrow, as it's Ron Archer's day to inspect the new buses and you know he helps us out with fleet numbers.

21074-21083 now at Oradell. Reportedly have the garage stickers on 'em.

Buses 21306 (the last Academy unit) and 21329 and 21331 inspected today in Piscataway.

We are not done yet with the 2021's. Buses 21336, 21339 and 21340 confirmed. 21340 reportedly back to the black rear.

whoops, quoting did not quite work. I was referring to 21328 and 21330. 21332 is now at ADD as well so only 21333 and 21334 aren't yet on the property. For next years order we have 16437, 16439 and 16440 tracking at MCI.

Those buses were both inspected today. Mr. Archer did the thing and gave us the fleet numbers, confirming what we already knew.
