  1. I can believe it but i doubt they will. Simply because there isn't a whole lot of people who goes thru with becoming a T/O. A lot of the forums and treads i've read there is people who get on the promotional list get into the schoolcar and say the hell with this and go back to there position.
  2. Honestly I won't be surprised if this exam goes a lot quicker then conductor exam #6601 simply because they're still calling from the other exam #8094 for at least the rest of this year. where as there isn't any other train operator exam out there besides the promotional one which is also probably coming to a end soon. When dealing with MTA who knows remember MTA is in control now so there's no telling honestly. Dcas had a system where you can kinda figure it out. So not until after these can you really know figure how they're doing things when it comes to these exams. But so far #6601 still no scores and #8094 is still going strong for at least another 6 months.
  3. Sorry to hear that my ninja. I hope that you at least put a answer. Test taking 101 never leave a answer blank. The beauty you don't lose points for wrong answer. So always put something. Wish you the best you never know. May come out on top.
  4. You can bring a bag. Plenty of people have even i have. Just don't over do it. A small gym bag that can fit under your seat is fine. I've bought my weekender bag that i use for the gym and it was fine.
  5. MTA stop playing hard to get...

  6. I second that. The way they did that was by far the most ignoring thing ever. I'm sure there some deep hidden meaning as to why they did it or then again probably not. but yeah once you get the hang of it, it's pretty simple.
  7. One thing you can always gather from MTA is that they are always hiring... this is why you should never put all your eggs and one basket. Always apply for multiple positions within the company. Your chances are greater that way. But good luck and remain patient.
  8. Low 200's good god. Lmao. Did they call you or send you another letter to come take the boss?! If you don't mind me asking thanks in advance.
  9. Low 200's good god. Lmao. Did they call you or send you another letter to come take the boss?! If you don't mind me asking thanks in advance.
  10. Don't over think it. Your gonna think yourself out of the exam and you haven't even taken it yet. If you can read a manual or instruction on how to do or put something together then trust me this is very similar. If you need to work on Reading comprehension skills they have pently of practices quizes online you can take for free but believe me when i say as long as you take your time use all the time available to you then you'll do great.
  11. Yeah i remember the yard questions. Those was simple as long as you read the questions and follow the diagram carefully. The answers would all look the same except for keywords that change everything. Man I hope we all get a 100 and give mta a hard task at figuring how they gonna hire us all.
  12. Applying to every exam MTA have!!! They gonna give up the goods!!!

  13. That's why every job opportunity that comes out this year my name is on. After it all!
  14. Only 10K that's it. Man that sounds kinda light. Especially since they lower the standards on applying for the job. I feel like it'll be a a good 30k. And i feel like that'll be only half. Lmao.
  15. I agree completely. I as well took the AM exam today. And I will say this. If you read and pace yourself don't rush thru it you'll be fine. Use all available time to go over answers and double check yourself. A few times i had to read over the question and answers. There's this one question that is still bothering me, and I remember it word for word but I wouldn't write it here because I know MTA watches these forums but I wish every one the best moving forward. Good luck to all.
  16. To be honest the difficulty depends on the individual. Like you i was a poor test taker. But what i can tell you is the online reading comprehension quizes i've google have Work. I haven't gotten nothing less then a 94 since i started doing them. Before i use to really struggle but i think most of it was just nerves because of failing. So i say get yourself a good nights rest and remember to use all available time to you. It can make the difference from a 88 to a 96. When's your test date?!
  17. It happens i think we all got caught at least once with them books. But best bet is to focus on the reading comprehension section. Just to get you back into the exam taking mood. They have some reading comp quiz online as well. A good nights rest and your good to go. Word of advice use all available time giving to you. Even if you finish early go back and retake it. You'll never know what mistakes you might find. Always cover yourself. ✊????✊????✊????
  18. Smooth... thanks for the info! ✊????✊????✊????
  19. Hiring only those with a CDL or a premit as well?!
  20. Hey oh well. A part of life take a chance and run with it. Like you said guess it depends on the person who runs your license. But good luck to you.
  21. Oddly enough this is interesting because i recently got my license suspended last year. Which wasn't even suspended for a day for insuance lapse. Now this is a bit nerve recking.
  22. Damn that's outrageous but if you don't mind me asking what was the suspension for because we recently had this conversation on another tread where a gentleman just went in and he said that he had a suspenion as well from last year and they didn't say anything to him about it.
  23. MTA stop playing give me the GOODS!

  24. I drove last time for the C/R exam and it took me forever to find parking so i'm just gonna take the iron horse and call it a day. I say leave a bit earlier so if anything you have time to find a good parking spot or hell might even get lucky and find one right around the corner. Good luck to you my ninja!!!
