  1. is this the thread of the day or something? ???
  2. This will be a waste of money but I feel that we have little choice but to upgrade the crap out of these R32's
  3. May I suggest something for the ?? If the midtown east part of second avenue phase 3 (55 and 42 Streets) were built with 4 tracks and 2 island platforms with an additional 2 tracks connecting the 63 Street tunnel and SAS together. Now while this may not be built in time for the train shutdown (or perhaps at all), It's something that i would consider in the long run
  4. well lets see - needs relief (IDK) - "under debate" - not feasable - ????? - I know for a fact they're banned - won't help during the shutdown - CBTC so automatically BANNED - BANNED - ?????? Riders would throw tantrums I still suggest to overhaul the remaining R32's
  5. well, unless the R179 order is complete then we'll just have to figure something out with the R32's (assuming that there will be about 100 left) such as .... IDK, overhauling them one more time or leaving them on the , the (i know for a fact) won't be able to handle the R32's much longer (by the time the train shutdown comes around, the will be all NTT) Come to think of it, unless we overhaul them once more there's really no place to put the R32's. Unless the MTA decides to make their GRAND FINALE run on the since it the R32's first ran on that line.
  6. That's a good question. But since it was answered already then I won't say anything. Probably, I'm just hoping for them to enter service on the train since I rely on it to go to school everyday
  7. 121st Street is almost complete 10th Street. ...... ehhh It's about halfway or so
  8. Question for everyone, what's the best way to Fix capacity on the Dekalb Junction? ??? I'm trying to come up with a plan for it
  9. Well, something does need to be resolved at Dekalb, right now (If I'm correct) the train tracks are the only one with left over capacity. Besides while no subway is needed in Staten Island now (it'd be better to anticipate rather than to react)
  10. I'm proposing it as a branch from the BMT 4th Avenue line after 59 and running underneath 67 and Victory Blvd from St. George. Besides if you don't have a car or can't catch a bus in Staten Island, then you're screwed
  11. I found a proposal that brings the BMT 4th Avenue line to Staten Island under 67 Street. I thought of reviving it to serve the then continue under Victory Blvd. I guess it could cost up to $20 Billion (I could be wrong though). Anyways, let me know your feedback
  12. I have a random Question, depending on the branch line, is it possible to move capacity over from a trunk line into a branch. Take the Rockaway Beach Branch and QBL as an example
  13. Renovating forest park is a good idea, as for the trolley terminal, I'd use it as some type of alternative to the train shutdown for the BQX since it currently serves no real purpose
  14. My only question is why didn't the MTA cancel the R179 contract with Bombardier and let another company such as Kawasaki take over
  15. Anyways back on topic, the 125 Street extension should not be built with the 125 Street station but instead extend to the Bronx with another line coming from Queens and Branches to south Brooklyn and Fulton....... I don't know, I saw that were getting a little off topic. ...
  16. Am I the only one who is sick and tired of the fact that the R179's have been on testing for ALMOST A YEAR
  17. What if R32's had a "GRAND FINALE" on Second Av with the last R32 beginning at 96 Street or 125 Street or an IND/BMT Dyre Avenue and running all they way to Coney Island (on revenue service on the )
