Put in order by the 5th fifth digit of your social..for example..if your social is 123456789....your number becomes 567891234...the lower the 5th digit, the higher you are on the list. This goes for ALL civil service exams.

Sent my appeal letter today..hope it gets me moved up from 16xx to the 800’s. Either way I’m still in good standing.

$34.16 starting I believe..not sure wat top pay is. That’s the salary stated on the paper my boy got..list number was 37x

Everyone has a list number.. people post the range so u can’t find out exactly who they are. The list is public info. If I say I’m number 44444..u can go look and find my name lol

I’m appealing...my dream job is to work for Fdny..this was my backup. If I could get a higher number & start earlier then why not. I doubt it’ll hurt my score.

I did.. I’m going to dispute it as well.. answer key showed that I had 4 wrong which would have given me a 93...according to the mta paper I got 5 wrong which is a 91. On my answer sheet I only changed 1 answer the whole entire exam and I happen to get it right. Maybe I didn’t properly erase the circle n it got graded incorrectly. Either way, we’ll see.

I’m not 100% sure but that letter may just be a failing letter. My friend guessed a lot of his answers because he was pissed off and tired. His disqualification letter states that he didn’t meet the education requirements. He’s had a hs diploma for 13yrs, DL for 10years, and worked at his job for 9years plus. Only thing I can think of is that he failed. Because he has everything that they said he didn’t meet.

Jus got mine today..score and list number. Maybe you’ll get yours tomorrow..I’m sure it depends on where u live. I’ve heard people got disqualification letters as well.

You cant have more than 4.. however Dmv updates their system every Jan 1. Hope that u have something coming off at the beginning of next yr the earliest so u can have a shot.

I’ll be home in about 3hrs & will be able to confirm what the letter says. The image from the post office definitely shows that it’s from the mta’s examination unit.

I have a letter coming from transit today, got the email from USPS saying it’s coming from the mta exams unit. When I checked my answer key, I had 4 wrong out of 60. Hopefully I’m getting this same letter.

List number 4,7xx...scored a 95. I feel like that’s good enough to get called after some years go by..

Last train exam they got up to people that scored an 80..this time around it may not be the case, but a 90 should def be enough to get called after a few yrshrs

U shouldn’t post questions from an exam here. It can cause you to get disqualified

I believe so.. they are strict when they say 1yr experience
