Yeah you'll get a paper where to report and the clothes you need to wear until your uniform comes. You'll get a report time and an address and make sure you get a bag without straps in order to prevent drags on the road bed when walking the tracks in yards.

Anytime nothing is set its all sporadic times it's not a usual 8 hour shift like that some jobs are but you can start for example 2:37pm and end at 10:56pm

If your PMs you'll stay PMs for 1 week with set rdos for that week the following week you can be either midnights or AMs with different days off just because you were off a weekend last week doesn't mean they'll keep you weekends off the next week.

Any time off is paid via using your OTO or AVA you have to call 21 days in advance to request either one of those two and they either grant it or they don't. And then you have sick days you accumulate as well, while on probation you don't get paid your first day out, and using to many sick days can put you on sick control where they visit your house to make sure you're home. Using too many sick days can ruin your chance of having a promotion if you have less than half of what you're supposed to have. You get 12 sick days a year. Make sure all sick time used comes with doctor lines so they will be counted as substantiated sick time and not unsubstantiated.

It's gonna be random placement after school car you'll be extra extra and they'll send you where they need to send you. I experienced this as a conductor in the A division extra extra being sent everywhere different times and different locations they kept me PMs for like a year so I was fortunate because I loved PMs. After school car you're at the mercy of the crew office... good luck.

You can try contacting/hiring a civil service lawyer to fight the decision, other than that there's no chance of you getting hired. Sorry if that sounded harsh...

Yeah confirm over email that way Ms. Vargas has actual proof that you received the email, check your spam or any other folders to see if you have it there if not call early tomorrow morning and let her know and she'll help you out she's a super sweet lady. You get it done during your pre employment they do a 5 panel urine drug test.

I don't think they go that hard if you don't know the exact dates just don't leave any gaps if you have gaps just mention the reason unemployment etc etc etc
