I feel like if there’s any place to wear a mask , the train should be it. It’s so many people coming from different areas and environments with other people in a confined space so masks would be the best option to keep everyone safe

Maybe someone was trespassing in the cab playing with the controls? Might be possible the crew wasn't aware the lights were off/being tampered with.

In like 2006 I rode an R68 (B) train that had its lights off underground. Double whammy as it was a rare ride on an R68 (B) (was rare for that time period as R40s dominated the line at the time) and the lights was off!

Nah , turns out the train was having an electrical error. Train was taken out of service at Grand Central and delayed the whole 7 line for about an hour

Currently on 7535 on the (7) going to Manhattan. All the lights in the train are shut off but we are running in revenue service still, we were leaving court sq when the lights were cut, pulled into Hunters Pt & Vernon Blvd with the lights off . Ironically enough, there was a subway surfer on the last car.

For the rest of the ride through the tunnel , the lights kept flickering on and off for seconds at a time

I would increase the fine to $25,000 or even $100,000 ( that would show the farebeaters) - $100 or even $250 is not too much of an incentive for people to avoid farebeating, especially when late to work. However, this would have to be contingent on the turnstiles actually working (a lot of the OMNY machines have been buggy).

$25k to 10% of a million dollars for not paying at $2.75 fare ? Make it make sense dumbass

I just got the rudest interaction from a station agent. Didn’t even bother looking up from her phone or respond. Just shaked her head no. Some professional courtesy. 🙄

I hope you’re not surprised or anything , that’s pretty common from station agents 😂

the Myrtle-Wyckoff (L) station smells like shit. Like I ran through the station twice today (about 3 hours apart) and both times the station smells like crap and when the  (L) runs through the station it lingers in the car until it hits the next station.

Myrtle-Wyckoff smelled like shit for years, it stopped at one point , sad to see if continued all over again

  10. Part Suspended

    (M) train service is suspended between Forest Hills-71 Av and Delancey St-Essex St.

M trains are running between Metropolitan Av and Essex St.

    What's Happening?

We are addressing a signal malfunction near Queens Plaza.

Smh ,this signal issue at Queens Plaza has been ongoing since 4AM

It would be cool if they connected Queensboro Plaza with Queens Plaza and provide a free transfer between the (N)(W) and (7) with the (E)(M) and (R).

It would be real interesting to see the (N) along Queens Blvd especially since it hasn’t regularly done that since 1987. I wonder if the (N) will run to Forest Hills late nights or just terminate at Queens Plaza.

It would also be cool if they added a direct connection to the (7) platform from the (E)(M) platform at Court Sq instead having to walk through the whole complex

    What's happening?

  14. I’m on a new lots (3) that just pulled in to crown hts , next one doesn’t come for 12 minutes , and the (4) came in to terminate but the (3) didn’t wait , it just took off before the people on the 4 could transfer to the (3)
It made me wonder, is there a specific rule on wait times for cross-platform transfers or something like that ?
