I was talking a guess ENY had the same thought since the 160’s that are used for the M are marked off due to CBTC use.

The delivery speed is really on Kawasaki side not the MTA, on the other hand placed into service is on the MTA side. A for spare the MTA has not and probably still don’t care about a spare factor anytime soon.

The mta had planned to have 5 sets running from start. 211’s are not even running overnight due to the crews rejections. Seems like a union fight is coming towards the mta as more 211’s enter service.

On the R211’s the digital Ads are not tied together with the car lights.

It fail more than once during the 30 day tests so it was best to just run in basic mode to get the cars out and running.

Honestly the MTA priority is just that trains run, all the other bells and whistles are just an extra that could get update later when the whole order is complete/ when they get around to it.
