  1. Remember their first priority is CBTC and end of life r46’s not fixing car shortages or full length train sets for both lines. That’s an afterthought
  2. Has the power and signal issues been fixed?
  3. Did anyone notice one of the newer sets does not have digital ads under the ceiling lighting? Like a second pilot set. I wonder is this the same set with the heated floor test?
  4. Everyone seems to forget that this is the reason why the C does not use 10 cars. Also the MTA cares more about how many trains can they put into service vs a spare factor.

  10. R211A 4220 - 4224 Delivered to The South Brooklyn Marine Terminal tonight
  11. R211A 4215 -4219 delivered.. if this was not already posted
  12. Another person hit by train in bk effecting F an G right now at 530pm
  13. Won’t likely happen as there’s more of a need to roll out new cbtc vs replacing existing ones just for compatibility. Likely the L doesn’t need too many more sets which the cost would likely be less than changing out a system. If eny had enough sets they wouldn’t need to borrow from the L line. This is really all r211 option 2 order talk.
  14. I don’t think it’s to anyone surprised the R68’s/A’s will be around for a while and will likely replace the r46’s running on the N Q W.
  15. R211 4180 4181 4182 were delivered too.
  16. Without locking off each car it would not be easy to convert them.
  17. They would look nice on the G line broken into 4 sets
  18. I kind of thought so but was not 100% sure! Thanks!!!!
