  1. Basically a line that begins at Prospect park, goes along Lincoln Road, then East New York avenue, and switches onto Jamaica avenue to terminate at Jamaica Center, also rerouting the lines along Jamaica avenue.
  2. I once caught a guy smoking between cars on the sharp curve between W farms sq and E 180 St. Some people seem to have no brains.
  3. I have 2 proposals: A Crosstown line that turns off the g at Bedford norstrand, replacing a 2 track Franklin Avenue shuttle to go down to Brighton. An E NY/Jamaica Avenue line.
  4. Oh, I didn't know that. I haven't ridden the subway since the midway through the closure
  5. That reminds me, maybe the should create either a subway or a bus route that shuttles between the Yankee Stadium stop and the Yankee Stadium MNR stop.
  6. Probably up 3rd or Melrose, then turn westward at Claremont Pkwy.
  7. I've been waiting for you to get on the forums! I love your tutorials so much! I really like the WMATA DC Metro 6000 series tutorial. Could you maybe make one for the WMATA DC Metro 7000 series? I'm a big fan.
  8. What about a 116th Street line to LaGuardia? It would take a load off the M60 and maybe bring the subway to Randall's Island!
  9. I am actually learning THE most popular song about the subway on piano. It's Billy Strayhorn and Duke Ellington's 'Take the train.'
  10. I get that the R188s on the are shorter than the R142/As on the , but 11 cars per train seems like such a random number!
  11. Brooklyn Loop Labeled as . Uses pre-Chrystie Street Nassau Loop Tracks Stops starting at top counter-clockwise: Chambers St St DeKalb Avenue Atlantic Avenue - Barclays 7 Av Prospect Park Church Av Newkirk Plaza Kings Hwy Sheepshead Bay Brighton Beach Ocean Parkway West 8 St Coney Island Bay Pkwy 8 Av 59 St 36 St Atlantic Avenue - Pacific DeKalb Avenue Lawrence St Court St Broad St Fulton St
  12. During corona, the MTA shut down the along with the whole, "Essential Only" thing but Washington DC shut down one station for every worker who got corona. And it was randomized as well. It got to the point where lines like the silver line, which only had 5 stops on it's own, had no purpose in running at all. What the hell, DC?
  13. Lol, I forgot to mention the entire route is not meant to be ridden, it's so that you can get into midtown from either airport. But a full ride could be a fun experience, and gain a lot of subscribers on Youtube
  14. Revised v2.0 Stops: LaGuardia Airport Ditmars Blvd Astoria Blvd 21 St - Queensbridge Roosevelt Island Lexington Av - 63 St walk to 57 St 47 - 50 St 42 St 34 St W 4 St Chambers St Bway - Nassau Jay St Bway - ENY JFK Airport
  15. Line Renovation. Effective 6/7/2020 until 5/2021 The Franklin Avenue Subway is getting an extension and upgrades! These include LED Countdown Clocks Restored station art Full length trains and platforms (10-car) 2 tracks for the full route Extension to the at Bedford-Norstrand Avs, with tracks eventually merging with the To make this possible, we need to make a few changes: The Franklin Avenue is fully suspended, use the or shuttle bus. To keep service even, the 4 R68 cars running on the will be transfered to the , so there will be 2 full-length trains running. trains are running their full routes 24/7 to make up for lost service This is to make Franklin Avenue shuttle service smoother and add more connections. It is also so the shuttle is much more convenient during service distruptions. For example, if there are issues on the south of Classon Avenue, the could be temporarily rerouted down the shuttle.
  16. closure alternatives (post COVID) Why doesn't the send the down to Canarsie? It would boost the tph to 15 from the 's current 6-7 tph due to the closure. And not only that, the can run from Broad Street to Canarsie or from Jamaica Center to Canarsie thanks to the relay tracks outside Broadway Junction. And since the isn't running many trains, some of the 's cars could be sent to the , maybe even some R143's. Since the is the #1 replacement for the , it would make service better and be a great G.O. to document. Another alternative could be sending the spare R46's from the onto the since the is the 's #2 replacement. The would not suffer i this scenario because the is implementing CBTC on the Queens Blvd Line, so R46's cannot run on the lines.
