  1. The screens are taken out before the scrapping begins, just like what they do with the fuel, seats n other things
  2. From my POV It’s likely that NICE will begin to retire the 1800s, 1807 is broken and left the depot like a month ago
  3. What’s the whereabouts on 3630 from Baisley Park? It last ran 2/9 on the Q64
  4. 9451(assigned to Michael J. Quill) is at JFK Vendor along with many other 9400s
  5. Basically what happened is, the bus crashed into a car and hit a tree, the driver of that car died 🙏 here’s the news video:
  6. 1862 crashed into a tree in Glen Cove while deadheading to the depot(Prayers to the man in that car)
  7. That was actually my mistake so my apologies on that one, however it was spotted sitting next to a retired 1700 at the depot
  8. Uhhhh are u sure about those 9800s going to Kingsbridge? those are for Manhattanville. Unless u made a mistake and thought those were for Kingsbridge.
  9. That idea doesn’t sound that bad, I proposed a route like that too! It should run every 30 minutes and serve South Oyster Bay Road. Bus service must come back to South Oyster Bay Road and Woodbury Road again, why? Because there’s a huge shopping center at that intersection, it used to be serviced by the N94 which was a loop route that went from Hicksville LIRR to those business places(Clever Devices Ltd HQ is located there) at the end of NY-135 North(exit 14) unfortunately this route has been discontinued by MTA due to the 2010 budget cuts. This route should also serve Syosset LIRR as well.
  10. Nobody take my word on this but I predict those units are 2080-2081
  11. Is 4109 from Manhattanville retired? It was last seen November 7th on the M3
  12. Yep, i have mixed feelings about their retirement. I don’t miss them because of now NICE mistreated them from 2012-2019, and I miss them only because they are ex-MTA Long Island Bus
  13. 1728-1729, 1756, 1769 and 1782 officially retired As of 12/23/2021, all of the NICE Bus(ex-MTA Long Island Bus) 2008-2009 Orion VII NG CNGs(aka 1700s) are OFFICIALLY retired, the last unit to run in revenue service was on 12/16/2021 and it was 1729 on the n70.
  14. I mean I won’t lie here, I really like the BRTs and so far they have been preforming really well under NICE and no issues were reported. I rode on 14 units and I experienced no issues at all. Speaking of Gilligs… All Gilligs 2000-2079 have all been delivered as of 12/13/2021
  15. As of 12/5/2021: 1728-1729, 1737, 1756, 1764, 1766, 1769-1770, 1776, 1782, 1787-1789, 1795(014) remain active 1800 officially retired
  16. 2061 delivered to MItchel, units 2000-2061 on property. 2070-2071 are on the way from California. 1722, 1741, 1757, 1773, 1784, 1786 all retired. 1785 and 1797 are now system reserve units.
  17. Ima be fr here, NICE has to get rid of the n80 and restore the n81, when the n81 used to exist, it served more LIRR stations unlike the n80 and the n81 went through areas where bus service was useful like Stewart Avenue in the Bethpage area, because of that route being gone I now have to walk 30 minutes to Hempstead Turnpike to the n70, n71 and n72, I have LIRR but the thing is, I don’t want to rely on the LIRR ever single time I have to go to Hicksville. The n81 would have been very useful for kids that go to Bethpage High School.
  18. 1700 update: 1719, 1722, 1728-1729, 1737, 1741, 1756-1757, 1764, 1766, 1769-1770, 1773, 1776-1777, 1782, 1784, 1786-1792, 1795, 1798(026) all remain active, 1700-1718, 1720-1721, 1723-1727, 1730-1736, 1738-1740, 1742-1755, 1758-1761, 1763, 1765, 1767-1768, 1771-1772, 1774-1775, 1778-1779, 1780-1781, 1783, 1785, 1793-1794, 1796-1797, 1799(074) confirmed to be retired. However 1785 and 1797 have been sitting in the Mitchel Field staff parking lot for some time, they still have their fareboxes, radios, license plates and no missing parts(all the retired units besides 1785 and 1797 have their license plates taken off, missing fareboxes, and some have missing parts) Gillig update: NICE now has Gilligs 2000-2055 & 2057(057) 2056, 2058-2060 are currently on the way. 2000-2036, 2038-2041 & 2043-2046 have already hit service while 2037, 2042, 2047-2055 are awaiting inspections, receiving their license plates, fareboxes and all that stuff.
