  1. Oh shit… I didn’t read your comment carefully. Sorry man
  2. Your best bet would be to hire a civil service lawyer to scare them, but that would be a very chaotic process to go through.
  3. I’m taking it in 5 hours. Hopefully it goes well for me and everybody else.
  4. I’m scared now because that means if you score under 95, you have no shot at getting called.
  5. Do you think everybody is going to get 100 on this?
  6. Maybe if they made mnrr and LIRR civil service, no one would have to go through this problem. The playing field becomes more fair.
  7. Sometimes I wish everything else aside from NYCT was civil service. It would probably even the playing/hiring field better, a balance of power between the candidates and HR.
  8. What was his list number though?
  9. Last time I took the test for custodian, the recruiter was suppose to schedule an interview with me as it was part of our process, but she never did even though I sent her many emails about it and she kept forgetting. She started doing her job once I put in a BSC complaint. These people who don’t work in transit don’t really have a good history of not discriminating their applicants.
  10. If you keep threatening me like that but don’t enforce the site policies on other members too, I’m reporting you to the site admins.
  11. Yes, especially the fact that railroads have a moronic communication system, they ain’t easy to deal with
  12. You should’ve at least applied for NYCT conductor and station agent. Therefore you would have somewhere to go later on. You shouldn’t have rested your whole hands just on MNRR or LIRR.
  13. Anybody who becomes a conductor needs to be able to know how to do the job; if someone sucks at the job, they can fire that person.
  14. I wonder where they’re going to place station agents or conductors once they computerize/AI stuff on the job. I hope we aren’t going to get layed off or anything.
  15. They only asked for education credentials this time, nothing about work experience when I submitted it.
  16. Someone said don’t score below 92. Also, can you tell me the last time people who took the conductor test got called with scores of 80-95?
  17. I think it’s easier to become a station agent than a conductor. It seems like conductor is the more popular job of the two and if you don’t score 100 on it, you can’t get the conductor position.
  18. I would think so, but hopefully somebody here who has more experience than me on that can answer this.
  19. You can protest the questions with more than one right answers.
