  1. Not necessarily. That R46 that was on the yesterday will be running somewhere else today... That’s why I grabbed my R46 video yesterday as soon as I could:
  2. The R62As on the 7 ash do not have CBTC. They operate under AWS.
  3. Very very rarely. I don't think a move has been done over that switch in a *very* long time. That switch is part of a standalone interlocking, so a TSS or Tower Operator has to be there to operate the switch. It's all moot now - the switch has been out of service since August and will be removed over the next two weekends.
  4. Thanks!! For these shots, I used a GoPro Hero 7 Black, which has good digital image stabilization. I also do very heavy post processing for all my videos, which includes additional digital stabilization.
  5. My footage from yesterday, including the very first run of the train in customer service - 6:45am Euclid to Lefferts:
  6. That trip is no longer in the base schedule but it is still done ad-hoc by line supervision on evenings when a lot of work trains are scheduled to leave 38th St yard.
  7. The testing 3010-3019 went through wasn’t burn-in, it was something else. There’s still more to do before they enter service.
  8. ENY to 207: 3476/7 3870/1 3886/7 3912/3 26 R32s remain at ENY. Get your photos/videos of R32 J/Z trains now.
  9. 3178-81 is also on property. 3185-3184 is waiting to cross the GWB right now.
  10. Yeah, they're all in service and have been for a while. In general, switches like that only stay out of service for a pretty short time.
  11. Weekends it goes to Euclid. Nights it discharges at Hoyt and relays on A5 at Lafayette Interlocking.
  12. This will happen several times in the next few weeks/months, including likely on at least one weekend.
  13. More burn in testing: http://youtu.be/SoAco2eHKwc
  14. This is an issue that I am acutely aware of, and I am actively involved in efforts to rectify it. Every second counts!
  15. Not sure where that came from. More are arriving this week.
  16. They were being transferred from 239 Yard back to Corona Yard. I have a video of them being moved around that will be up soon.
  17. 3010-3019 are at Bombardier in Kanona, something that has been known for a while. Any further discussion regarding those cars is speculation. I don’t like to repeat rumors and speculation from the grapevine. Can’t really do road testing up there because road testing by definition involves running on the subway system. I’m not sure why there is so much back-and-forth about this haha
  18. It's burn-testing on the C out of convenience (The train was already at Pitkin Yard). Once that consist is finished testing it will join the other R179s at East New York Yard.
  19. The D will likely stay with R68s until the R211 comes in
  20. Just to clear some things up - some people have extrapolated some small bits of information to make various conclusions about how the car assignments will look in the future. Furthermore, a select minority of these conclusions have been attributed to me when that isn't really the case. Some of these extrapolations are fairly well done, but I should make it clear that the resultant detailed numbers and other info from them may in some cases be inaccurate. In short, I can't really comment about the accuracy of the claims made here because they are not official plans, and I think it would be incorrect to characterize any of those conclusions as coming from myself.
