I only go there during the off season; the prices are slightly cheaper... and ever since they re-designed (condensed) the interior of the place, it provides even more of a haven for *stuff* to break out while waitin on the lines.... the newbies they have in training at the registers don't help matters.... although I try to help them out whenever I can; most folks would just call them all sorts of names & curse them out.... teenage asian kids; they don't bother nobody.... but I am sick of that bum/hustler that stands there askin for change.... he usually has the backpack w/ the retractable handle.... I wish I was.... The manager (who's also Italian) decided to buy everyone in our dept. pizza this past wednesday.... it's only about 25 of us.... bought about 8 or 9 pies.... guess who the first pie went to.... guess who ran through that sucka in about 10 mins.... The line he uses at me whenever he orders pizza for us, is: "I know you're good for a pie or two... save some for the rest of us" ....one of the perks of having a high metabolism, I suppose.... have it not been for that, and all the walkin I do, I would easily be double my weight.... and none of the men in my family are above an average build (meaning fat, slightly obese, obese, hippopotamus, etc).... come to think of it, only both the aunt's on my mom's side are overweight (one of which is diabetic).....

What place on Surf/Stillwell, pal ? only thing besides nathan's I can think of around there is that quick fix pizzeria opposite the subway (on stillwell)..... too much activity goes on over there... "what kind of activity..." "straaaaange activity !" movie references aside, I don't trust that pizza spot.

do you remember where it was? I know there's a chinese food spot over on 9th st b/w 5th & 6th av's, but that's 100% americanized chinese food.... I would go there all the time whenever I visited my father....

I dread smelling the aroma of a KFC; that's how bad it's gotten w/ me.... decided to take the BM2 home today, which meant, a wait in front of that KFC over on Av H/utica... funny thing is, you'll see more people chillin inside the KFC waitin for the bus [b46], than you'll see people ordering.... I tell ya, if they moved that popeye's on the same side of the street that the KFC's currently on (NE corner of utica/av H), that popeye's would instantly see at least double the business they're currently are.... dam... too bad chief.... they're all over the boroughs; even got one over in chinatown for pete's sake.... I aint eat much of anything today, so I might hit up popeye's a little later... I'm glad they got rid of the KFC that was around here.... and (co-incidentally) put a popeye's in its place....

I knew about the Wendy's... I just aint know about the white castle... that must have JUST happened, like as of this month.... yeh, and they got a Obama beauty supply store over here on Utica b/w church & linden.... lol yep, it was @ a car wash.... that was another reason I decided to walk around the immediate area; the smell of pine sickens me.... maybe you did see me fam, iono... I'm not hard to miss... lol this was a couple months back, around march I believe.... at the time, I was wearin a spurs hoody w/ a black jansport (like I normally do when it's chilly outside)....

really? wondered what happened to that white castle @ the junction..... b/o's would use their bathrooms like, all the time... lol y'know, after all this time, I never realized there was a burger king around the junction.... If you're traveling SB on flatbush, it's on some small side street jusst before you hit nostrand..... that chicken spot on foster/farragut is a hang out spot... lol... just like the one a little closer on my end, over on church/ocean.... I don't step foot in either one of em... you'd think you're in the middle of the projects w/ the way cats act in there..... heh... nostrand b/w like newkirk & glenwood is ghettrified enough (that mcdonalds express over there by foster, don't even go in there!).... what makes it even more funny is that they got the nerve to rename the general area east of it as flatbush gardens; as "gardens" would have most people believe it's one of the more nicer neighborhoods in a city.... Crown fried, Kennedy fried, Kansas fried, Royal fried, Mama's fried... s'all the same shit, fam... see post above.... and all them stores be owned by arabs..... - the more black areas, the arabs themselves run the stores... - the more hispanic areas, they hire hispanics b/c arabs (generally) don't speak the language.... there's other reasons as well.... arabs (and asians) are good for settin up shop in our neighborhoods b/c we're their biggest consumers... too busy givin our dollar to these cats, that's why we don't own anything !!!! real talk. cool beans bro... thanks. I remember walking over to a pizza store one day w/ that name, after I just missed a Q28 towards flushing... matter fact, what hit me is, I smelled it ! lol... so instead of hittin up the burger king in Flushing (like I pretty much always do when I'm around there), I ate a couple slices from pizzarama there, on the next Q28 I ended up catching....

oh I aint sayin it was the best cheese steak I ever had... lol... over there near LIRR patchogue, you either have a choice of either quizno's (which is a little further away from the "main" bus terminal) or subway (which is right across the street from the main bus terminal).... I aint see no other eateries about the area.... the subway is inside a convenience store actually, which I aint trustin b/c undesirables hang out over there.... of course, when I went to that quiznos, I stood & explained what I wanted for like 5 mins. b/c aint no one understood what I was sayin (all the employees spoke spanish, and my spanish aint the greatest).... Been to 2 out of those 3.... Of course the one @ the junction (that always ask you for your first name... like wtf you wanna know my name for)... the more customers in that one, the slower they are; worse, those be all college students workin in there, sans that old heavy set lady I'm assuming is the manager... That one @ Hillside, their service is light years faster than the one @ the junction... there could be 2-3 ppl. in front of me, and I'm still pretty much in & out.... don't know about that one, but there's another white castle on Boston rd, over there on allerton... last time I went in there (twas years ago), some young punk tried to run up on me & dead my food as I was leaving... this was late at night, so I was the only one there ordering at the time....

So that's what ceviche is... I heard of it, but never knew what it was... truly do learn somethin everyday.... far as frozen pizzas, I still eat celeste from time to time... problem is, my local supermarket hardly ever have the ones I like (sausage, sausage & pepperoni, zesty 4 cheese).... they have shelves of the supreme & some other meatball some'n another I can't recall the exact name of...... A study was done where it showed that their (mcdonald's) salad contained more sugar than the dam cookies... lol.... so be careful.... Just goes to show people have different tastebuds.... Me, I don't like BK's fries either (I always get the onion rings), but I think white castle's fries has got to be the dryest things on earth.... the name pizzarama rings a bell... is that along the Q28 route by any chance? There's another blimpie's over there by queensboro plaza.... it's combined w/ some'n else (it's not it's own bldg)... it's on the same side of Queens plaza where the Q66, Q69, B62, etc. ends at.... Anyway, if the weather is right (or in one of my "iont care when I get back to work moods"), I take the to Queens plaza & walk back (towards the bridge) & get a couple ham & turkey sammiches for lunch....

1) I don't eat from subway no more, but when I did, their cold cuts did have an awkward taste to it, you're right.... from then on, I would only get the pastrami sandwich.... The only Quizno's I ever been to, was the one out in Patchogue... I whoofed down that double cheese cheesesteak sammich so fast, I didn't have the chance to enjoy it... too worried over if my bus would come or not; plus I didn't want it to get cold.... The one over @ 23rd/Madison I don't trust for some reason.... 2) 20 pc. nuggets aint nothin for me either.... haven't ate mickey d's in a minute, but my "norm" was to get a 20 pc nuggets, 2 cheeseburgers, lg fries, & a lg soda.... Everything you mentioned b/w the refills & peanuts (inclusive) means nothing if you're eating take out..... Don't know what five guys you went to, or when... but I ate from 5 guys, twice.... first time was @ the one over by Christopher st, about 3 mos. ago... got a cheeseburger & regular fries alone - it came out to 12 something... I went to a local newsstand and bought a bottle sprite, or else it would've came out to 15 bucks if I got a drink.... went to the one over in bay ridge a couple weeks ago; the same thing was around 11 bucks.... I'm not knockin the food, I'm knockin the prices... For the common working man, that is expensive, I'm sorry.

it's an overpriced burger joint that's popping up all over brooklyn & manhattan, I'd say quite rapidly.... not sure if there's any in queens, but.... in brooklyn, there's one in park slope, across methodist hospital.... one over on 5th/86th in bay ridge.... one in brooklyn heights on montague st.... and one over there by metrotech/jay st station ... in manhattan, there's two near where I work at.... one about a block away from christopher st , and another one around where the M5 used to end at; houston st/laguardia pl.... there's one along fulton st in lwr. manhattan as well, not too far from this pizzeria where I stopped eating from called "lisa's pizzeria".... which doesn't make sense b/c there's a burger king, and like 2 other (local) burger spots around/along that strip of fulton st... the same stretch of fulton st where all those south st. seaport shoppers walk along.... ----- btw, Have you heard of a burger joint called "cheeburger cheeburger"... (I still say someone overheard me say that word... I want naming rights dammit....)

I'm bored, so I'll play along, I guess.... 1) McDonalds: Haven't ate from one in over a month... it's unintentional, but at the same time, I've gotten sick of mickey D's as of late.... 2) Burger King: will always be my favorite fast food burger spot... when it comes to value & taste, the whopper jr. w/ cheese > __________________ 3) Subway: I've pretty much boycotted subway... Bring Back Blimpies !!!! 4) KFC: ever since popeye's (re)surfaced, this has been an afterthought... their chicken to me always had an odd taste to it; I just tolerated it.... best thing out of KFC still to me, is the biscuits.... 5) Sushi: I'll pass.... 6) Chinese Food: in general, yes, I fux with (americanized) chinese food.... been on a lil hiatus, but I'm back to eatin chicken & broccoli... and pork fried rice...
