  1. For next pick I went switching so my CBTC adventure as far as I can see it will be Over... By the time they'll have it fully Online In queens I most likely wont be there finishing my time down here.. It wasn't fun while it lasted....

  4. Depends on how the Pick Goes some get it quick some dont when we started in 2001 we had A LOT of folks in front of us so it took over ten close to 15 years just to get a part of it..

  10. OCC now controls the interlockings at the Plaza area as well as Roosevelt ave. Trains are IDd at Kew Gardens SB and Fifth ave NB, line ups come in based on train IDs.

  12. Yard leads that go to the mainline you do not need permission from OCC to key up to the Homesignal. Going through a Flagging area DO NOT MOVE that train until you make sure everyone is cleared up safely that trip and red lantern is picked up and you have the proper signal from the flagger to proceed. If you have a Tech train and there is inclement weather make sure that Wiper is working before you leave the Terminal.. If there is a incident and G2s are written please do not use the words "Oh everybody else dose it" or "that's how it was shown to me" will just bring more heat to places just take the spanking and get it over with..
  13. This place is just like any other job its what one makes it.. If some are eff ups they are eff ups period and those are usually the ones always complaining because they know there's nothing else out there for them but this place. If they had something better lined up they'd be gone already. Its not perfect but which job is that all you need is a high School Diploma and can make over 40 bucks a hour without some type of specialized training? That's true one BETTER know their job here or one will def have issues Labor Relations is like a 24/7 place now... 22 years of seeing and hearing all kinds of chit but my eye is on that prize retirement...
  14. Yes we are a warm body and yes if i keel over on the clock someone will make my trip or they'll just ABD it.. I dont have to like it but i can accept it... Yes if you eff up down here in CERTAIN departments they'll try to hold you under the fire... Five years these days not likely maybe two years tops. Its not like how it was when I started in 2001 with those dinosaurs who just did not want to leave and I had to wait five years to just pick a crappy RDO Relief job but you know what? I HAD set days off and that mattered more than anything I was able to get somewhat of a life back. You hearing how the job sucks mostly from eff ups who are prob always down in Labor relations anyway it was the same with me.. Some of the T/Os and C/Rs who always beefed about the place always was in Labor Relations, I started to see that and ignore those types... They try to bring their misery to others dont let it bother ya just do what's best for you and let them stay in their corners miserable.

  17. West forth street Tower is No More.. 34th Master Controls everything from 42nd street to west fourth on 6th ave and can "see" 8th ave from 34th to west 4th as well.. Essex still controls from Just south of the Willy B to Broad Street area.. I Believe City Hall controls the Cut south of Broad St...
