  1. Pablo: Did you hear about the woman who drove her car through a fence at the end of Cottage Street, over a small cliff and landed on the PATH tracks with her daughter in the car this morning? Newark-WTC PATH service was briefly disrupted. 70(EE)

  2. Hi SI Subway! Disappointed? Nah, life is too short! Also, it is indeed, the Washington Nationals (or Nats). From 1969 through 2004, they were the Montreal Expos.

Are you surprised by the early success of the Pittsburgh Pirates (46-42; 22-21 at home)?

  3. Hi! Happy Birthday, BJC! Has your day been nice?

  4. error46146, I just received a short E-mail dated Wednesday April 12, 2006 6:42:59am....

It's from a "deliveryman", "Presley Harward".

  5. How are you, Messino? Are you okay?

  6. Hi Daniel! I'm fine thank you. How've you been?

  7. Hi Daniel, It was meant in fun. The Transit Channel doesn't exist as a cable channel.

    70(EE)

P.S. I was trying to create a transit related cable channel similiar to Animal Planet or The History Channel.

  8. Hi Daniel; I listed you as the host of "Transit Videos With Beautiful Music" Wednesday nights on The Transit Channel in Off Topic Lounge. Is that okay?

  9. Hi! Daniel, I would suggest sending a P.M. to Hiro Nakamura at Strappies. He's our Coordinator. In your P.M. briefly state what you volunteered for at The Straphangers Campaign and you believe there was something mentioned about a promotion. Also let Mr. Nakamura know what you've done so far (if anything) and that you're interested in surveying riders about the new (Q) and (N).

About your "title" - these are fun honorary titles based on your post numbers. You're a "Tourist" from 0 to 49 posts. The complete list of fun honorary titles and their post number ranges can be found in the FAQ section at Rider Diaries. The next one to shoot for is "Straphanger" which you'll be from 50 to 299 posts. In addition to a Moderator, I'm currently also "Gene Russianoff". Hope this helps and best wishes.

    Cheers, 70(EE)

  10. Hi! Will do Daniel. Did you volunteer for The Straphangers Campaign or for NYPIRG?

  11. Thanks for the heads up, Pablo. Red & Tan's website shows $1.45 as Route 4's fare. Little ones shorter than the farebox ride free. 70(EE)

  12. Pablo: I found this interesting music video featuring Jersey City while searching for Jersey City videos. Looks like Jewett Avenue on both sides of Monticello Avenue and looks like a NJT #87 bus passing on Monticello. Jewett Avenue music video:

. Not sure if the music is appropriate for everyone, so didn't want to post this in Off Topic. Have a wonderful day and weekend. 70(EE)
  13. Don't blame you there, Pablo. According to WPIX 11 News, the Mom told Jersey City police she lost control of the car, sending it, her and her daughter through the fence, over the small cliff and onto the PATH tracks where they landed upside down near a third rail. WPIX also aired a video that shows where Cottage Street ends at the PATH tracks, the fence and the car on the tracks. I posted a link to the WPIX news story and video. Have a wonderful day. 70(EE)

  14. Hi Pablo! How've you been?

  15. Hi Grand Concourse: Happy Saturday! I do hope you are feeling better:). Have a wonderful day. 70(EE)

  16. Hi PATCOman, Your signature has caught my attention. How long is a Hi-Speed Line car and which section would you say is the best? Have a wonderful day. 70(EE)

  17. Hi Daniel: Here is a music video you might enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cy3pCdjN5F4. Have a wonderful day

  18. Hi Pablo; Just curious: Can you use the Bus Card on Bergen Avenue, Montgomery And West Side, #10 and Broadway or on just some of these and how does fare work if you ride the 99S just on Central Avenue or from Jersey City to Union City, do you know? Also, it looks like the #87 has an improved Sunday schedule and possibly Saturday schedule as well and that the #1 Journal Square Branch now uses West Side and Sip Avenues from/to Communipaw leaving the Exchange Place Branch providing service on Communipaw as far as the Junction. Have a wonderful day, Your Friend 70(EE)

  19. I gather three masked men entered the Friendly Laundromat, confronted the victim, and shot him in the hip. He was rushed to the Medical Center where he underwent surgery.

  20. Pablo, Did you hear about the robbery and shooting at the laundromat on Communipaw at Whiton? It happened at 7:00pm Thursday.

  21. Happy New 2010, error46146! 70(EE)

  22. An early Happy New 2010, my friend! May the new year be excellent for you! 70(EE)

P.S. How is your bird (Paula, IIRC?)?

  23. Brutal and bad fire on Beacon in the Heights, Pablo. Four houses just west of BJ's and Joseph Cabala's on Central and Beacon. Christ is at Palisade and Beacon but one resident and two firefighters were taken to Jersey City Medical Center (which I can understand). They temporarily housed people at P.S.#6 at St. Paul's and Central. Just up Beacon from where I grew up (my old building itself was replaced by a nicer looking building, in fact). I posted the Jersey Journal article in Off-Topic). 70(EE)

  24. Hi Pablo, How is The Beacon progressing? I like the new Jersey City Medical Center. So what do we have left: Red And Tan In Hudson County #4, 10 and 99S, Bergen Avenue IBOA, Montgomery And West Side and NJT? Looks like NJT has trimmed the #125 a little on weekends in terms of headways. 70(EE)

  25. Not too bad. Working mainly. Sometimes I see you at Subchat. I found this portal: Downtown Jersey City List and a sister portal JC Wired. Still dealing with the #4?
