  1. In your neighborhood, KB? 11:45pm on a Saturday night.....

  2. Hi GojiMet86! How have you been? Did you see the thread in the Off Topic Lounge that the Mets and Citi Field have won the 2013 All-Star Game? This will be the first All-Star Game the Mets have hosted since 1964.

  3. Hi! May I ask why you're upset with Jabroni? Who is this new member?

    70(EE)

  4. Hi Gorgor! Sorry to bother you. Here is a beautiful official 1974 subway map I found online. Shows the cover, the full map, Manhattan, Brooklyn and the 1974 subway service guide. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy!

  5. Hi! While I was searching for "subway service change posters" and "subway fails", I came across that Brittney Crush (E)(F) poster at this site:

    Link To Blog: http://www.perezfox.com/2009/03/26/can-design-save-the-mta/

It didn't seem dirty or offensive, just unusual so I figured I post it to see the reactions and obviously it's nothing to do with the (E) and (F) so I figured our Off Topic Lounge was best.

Honestly, I'm not sure if this is a male or female or even a real person.

    Have a wonderful day,

    70(EE)

  6. Hi Roadcruiser1, lol In your interesting post about a Jamaica El rehab, I think you meant third track as the Jamaica El already carries two third rails. And yes, there is provision that a third track could be added. I believe opposition prevented this from happening.

  7. Hi R44 CNG, Much thanks! If you could, please: Whitehall 71 Ave-Continental Ave 70(EE) ? No special preference: Whitehall or 71 Ave-Continental Ave can be the top sign. Thank you,

    70(EE)

  8. Hi R44 CNG, Could you possibly make a small inside sign similiar to the one in your signature, if I ask politely and be patient?

    70(EE)

  9. Hi Jen, You don't work at Moe's Deli on Newark Avenue in Jersey City, do you?

  10. Hi! Cool video in the Random Thoughts thread! Would you happen to know where this rail line is? Looks like a causeway that has begue to erode into the sea.

  11. Hi! Greetings from a native and former Jersey Citian! What part of Jersey City are you in, if you don't mind. I was in the Heights.

  12. Hi! GojiMet86, how has it been on the first hot day of the year?

  13. Where's Dirty Harry when you need him?

  14. Hi GojiMet86; I like your interest and I think you might enjoy this website: http://www.chicago-l.org . It's the Chicago version of nycsubway.org - L Lines, railcars old and new, present and former stations, articles on L accidents, and more.

I like Chicago-L's collection of 6000 Series Photos - my favorite Chicago railcar and collection of both Loop L and Loop subway station photos.

The Brown Line is particularly interesting - elevated from the Loop, the last mile or so is at street level and features a couple of actual grade crossings. Rockwell is one of these grade crossings.

    Have a wonderful day. 70(EE)

  15. "Meow, meow, meow, meow

    Meow, meow, meow, meow;

    Meow, meow, meow, meow

    Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow.

    Meow meow. meow"

  16. Call 311 to reach Geico?

"Don't cross the street in the middle.

    In the middle,

    In the middle,

    In the middle,

In the middle of the block.

Teach your eyes to look up,

    Teach your ears to hear!"

  17. Mr. William Jefferson Clinton? Soitenly! He's my favorite President. Mr. Rudolph W. Giuliani is my favorite Mayor and Mr. Hugh Carey is my favorite Governor.

  18. Hi! Kingsbridge Bus, while the 70(EE) is my favorite, I like all the old subway routes. Next to 70(EE), I like the 70(QB), (QJ), 70(AA), 70(CC), (T) and (TT).

  19. I'm kind of surprised the M.T.A. did a switch. In effect, by keeping the (M) designation, they're essientially extending the (M) via the Chrystie Street Connector to cover the now former (V). Instead of running with the (R) on Fourth Avenue, the (M) will run with the (R) on Broadway/Queens Boulevard.

  20. NX Express, We're still alive! :P

  21. Hi, Good Evening, Kingsbridge Bus! How (R) Ya?

  22. I have two parakeets, Pepper (a green and yellow) and E (a blue and white) and two zebra finches, Peep and Peep.
