  1. Updated Orion VII CNG scrap roster: 7686-7708, 7710-7717, 7720-7721, 7724, 7730, 7734, 7741, 7743-7744, 7746, 7748, 7752, 7758, 7760, 7776-7777, 7782, 7798. These units are all off the roster.

The following units are at ECH and are not scrap, as they are still in the system and may see service again the future: 7719, 7725, 7727-7729, 7731-7732, 7735, 7799.

    Grand Avenue now has and RTS fleet of 4946, 4983, 4997, 5178, 5188, 5189, 5207, 5208.

This is why I cautioned everybody about the fleet. Many of these buses are not retiring yet, so be careful when posting RTS’s being moved to scrap.

They have had these for a while. None of these came "back".

EDIT: Due to the acelleration of both Artic options, all RTS are scheduled to be retired by January 2020.

    4918, 5064 FB to Scrap

    5082, 5086, 5088, 5098, 5124 retired out of UP

8933, 8994, and 9027 JK to EC pending Scrap.

6543 and 6545 actually haven't left since they were reported.

And 3782 on the QM4???????? Don't forget ALL the OG hybrids are over the 12 year service life limit. They are actually doing better than expected seeing as they are not optimized for the higher average speeds of Queens.

    (1) 5397 was never a JFK bus.

    (2) These were loans, as all 3 buses are back to their respective depots.

Looks like these hybrids are not suited for Queens. Run those old hybrids on high speed routes, and expect all of them to break. Can they repower them with the hybrid systems being tested on the new XDE40 buses (Allison or BAE systems) to improve reliability?

Not worth the expense when all of the Orion hybrids are to be done by 2024 latest.
