  1. Not me, I got sick and tired of people saying I’m driving fast. Now everyone suffer. I purposely would get there at 1030. It was these same group of old ladies that would complain, they paid for that, because once they noticed I was getting there at 1030 they started whining.
  2. We drive slow people complain, we drive fast people complain. What i do now is follow 10mph under the posted speed limit and when people are late I instantly say I’ve been complained on for driving fast. I was on the 319 for years and on my 845pm trip i would literally drive 55mph all the way down the turnpike and parkway to Tom’s River. Coming out of PABT, no faster then 25mph and 35mph coming up the helix then back to 25 until past the toll plaza. Complain, ok I’m driving now; I can slow all the way down. No harm no foul.

  4. So there you have it, no back up safety features in place. Apparently they was controlling from the 3rd car. My guess mgt wanted this train back in the yard asap putting pressure on the crew. My friend is a op on the 2 line and I know the kind of pressure that exists to get things done. She had a lite train from 241-flat, upon entering 96 they pushed her on the local but then yelling at her(over the radio)for stopping in stations, but with a train right in front wtf can you do. The culture within MTA mgt needs to be cleaned up. One thing for sure my money has them putting front facing outward cameras on all train soon rather then later.
  5. It doesn’t help when someone pays with a debit card we still have to put in the zones, and if they tap the card before we ask we have to cancel out the fare and start over. When using the mobile app we don’t have to ask as the system knows what zone to put in automatically. Also if you have a card with not enough funds it will accept the payment and hotlist your card; when used again you’ll see “card denied” and on our screen it says “card hotlist”.
  6. 5833 to egg harbor 17076 currently at Washington twp awaiting a register and the samsura drive cam. Then will be moved to eht. 17083 currently at mci needing extensive maintenance.

  9. It was handy for me because i would know what bus I would have before I start work. Whatever bus went out on 5/315 would be my bus for 39/315.
  10. Nj transit limited what you can see with the most recent update due to safety concerns brought up by drivers on the Hilton Lines. Foamers, the way they act out went to far and the driver got wiff of the tracking site and brought it to the unions attention. It became a problem when the XE40 went there. All it takes is one to ruin it all. What you see on the tracking site is the end result. Hopefully it came come back fully.
  11. A lot of the decamp buses in egg harbor don’t even have the readers and the ones that do don’t even have work. Njt is a joke and will always be a joke. When someone comes on wanting to pay debit i let them ride free because they were false advertised.
  12. Meadowlands only go as far as Rutherford; 190R only. They have no parts of the 161.
  13. The moment they acquired the decamps and ex academy and coach they pretty much fulfilled 129 buses.
  14. A lot of these buses end up all over the place due to breakdowns. Especially the PABT lines. Whatever is available will be used. 21029 was a Howell Bus. When Howell breaks down above exit 14 meadowlands sends a bus if at Weehawken, Galvan, or PABT anything goes. This is how 22056 ended up at Egg Harbor. Hell I’ve brought back Oradell buses to Egg Harbor. Any garage can use any bus from another garage until their bus is fixed wherever it’s at.
  15. 17074, 17075,17076 ,17077,17078, 17081, 17083, 17084, 17087, 17092, 17093, 17103, 17109, 17110 Current ex decamp buses still at cmf and mci for extensive maintenance pertaining to rusted engine parts, and other rust damage as well. 17071, 17080 are supposed to be at cmf but Ironbound using until they can’t get those 2 in the shop. 17084 same thing but needs to go to mci to get the shocks replaced by warranty. However Ironbound is still using. They have more then enough 20s and 21s as well as 4000s to meet service.
  16. 500 of them are to get rehabbed and the rest replaced by new flyers more then likely. 5201(donated)is already gone, but it seems 5202-5699 will be goners, and getting those Nabis back from the privates started that early,
