  1. Becuase many times they are running early when they get to Utica. It was happening a lot Becuase Rockaway and Van Siclen were closed. But they reopened so maybe it will happen less.Look at the schedule if the train is 2 min or more early they hold.
  2. What is the procedure for "Mechanical problems" that take place on a bridge? It seems like those take longer.
  3. The problem was not the switch I don't think. It sounds like it was a BIE on bridge caused by signal problems. The signal problems lasted into the late morning.I think the best idea is to turn them at Whitehall.Problem solved. Some can go over Broadway Part of bridge. Not all
  4. Please fill in the error here. #ServAdv: n/b #4 and #5 trains are running local from Brooklyn bridge to 125 St, due to sick passenger at Brooklyn Bridge. Allow additiona
  5. How does signal problems actually cause this? Due to signal problems at E 180 St, the following service changes are in effect: There are no trains between 96 St or 135 St and Wakefield-241 St. There are no trains between Jackson Av and Dyre Av. As an alternate, customers can use Bx39 or Bx41 buses. EDIT 11:05 am It's being blamed for Con Ed problems. That makes more sense.Just signal problems shouldn't knock out service on the whole corridor.
  6. I know but it's ashame annoucnemnts can't be made better to allow transfers
  7. I mentioned this in other thread. Why can't the and stop at chambers for transfers?
  8. I have a question. The and are bypassing Chambers now Becuase of crane collapse.Maybe they can stop there just to make transfers? Why not? They can make announcements on trains and stations that they are only stopping to make transfers
  9. Anyone notice this? Due to mechanical problems at Broad Channel, the following service changes are in effect: trains are running with delays in both directions. There is no train service between Rockaway Blvd and Mott Av-Far Rockaway. As an alternative customers can use the Q22, Q52 or Q53 bus. Allow additional travel time. This was a 3rd rail problem that stranded passengers for about maybe an hour and required a rescue train.
  10. Why don't they just cancel the B and terminate the trains at 34th N/B.Also how do you cancel the where do the trains go? Is it worth it? I say to Whitehall. to 34th.using northbound track to Make reverse moves.
  11. What's more impossible? To win the the powerball?.Or to be on a mechanical problem train that requires a rescue train?
  12. That train on the bridge is still there. That can be scary being on a stalled train up there.
  13. There was an article on the news.It was similar to a derailment. They had to walk through the trains and and they went back to Delancy.Ok so,this was a real train with mechanical problems.
  14. The train problem was a real train with mechanical problems. They needed a rescue train on the bridge.i wonder how that played out.also I wonder when they will fix that switch at Franklin so trains can run express again.
  15. So then they should terminate the ®'s at 57 and 7 or 179 st. Yes the is local beginning with the train due at Atlantic Around 9:45.Its Becuase of events at Barclays center. It used to be only when they had events then they just made it every night. This is only southbound .Northbound is express till about Midnight Sometimes trains can get stuck behind 4 trains terminating at Utica but it's usually not so bad.
  16. Come on admit it.its either a minor derailment or switch problems. They are resuming now.But this lasted for an hour and half.Dont tell me it was only a "train with mechanical problems"
  17. On livetrain.info I saw a train stuck at 23rd for only 15 min.You should have waited.Southbound had more issues. It left 23rd at about 4:47 am
  18. Actually the best thing might be to send them to Brooklyn. Run them local To Euclid.
  19. The is not going to New Lots.Where did you read that? What would be nice though is maybe they can add some extra or trains and run them express to Utica.
  20. Wow a 2 and a half hour incident at Saratoga ave.I hate to think, what happened.and its ashame that service had to be disrupted that long.this was an Intersting service change.First they had no service at all south of Utica then later they single tracked trains but I don't think they had special shuttles, since it was late already they just waited at both terminals till the track cleared. In other words train from Manhattan waited till New lots train cleared track and vice versa.Obviously you can't really do that during rush.
  21. But still I want to know if they really went on Cranberry if anyone here knows? And yes maybe they were allowed to go to Coney Island. Just like they were able to go through Cramberry why can't they go back on Culver?
  22. Due to a police investigation of a customer injury at Delancey St-Essex St, southbound trains are running on the from W 4 St-Washington Sq to Jay S-MetroTech. Allow additional travel time. Wait a minute.Cranberry is shut down this weekend. How is this move possible? The only 2 options are terminate at 2nd Ave or run via the .Unless the work ended early or maybe they can still run trains through there for whatever reason.
  23. Yes sir the deviations are for special service for school routes.I think it's very nice that they actually put those in.You should see how many B16,s terminate at 36th st,
