  1. Sorry, but all you really need to know that there are 12 months in a year, each quarter is three months. Then count it out. An elementary school student could have figured that out.
  2. Realizm, thank you for pointing that out, because I'm dealing with those exact people right now, who believe a person with no proof over a person who's track record shows right here on these forums. Everything seemed to be going fine, a January 2015 delay just seems like too much. I really wasn't expecting the 10 car train to come first since they aren't really replacing anything. On the aesthetics part, yeah, it looks similar to the R143/160. But there's a difference between similar and too much like. At least for me. I tend to forget that not everyone has as much of an eye for detail like I do.
  3. Obvious for people who can see. I've already run across quite a few people who have seen the mock-up and still say it looks too much like the R143/160.
  4. I kinda got that from the mock-up, which was already quite distinct in my eyes.
  5. I've been meaning to pot this for the last three months, but there is an S60 sign still up at the CLOVE RD/SCHOHARIE ST stop for the S53.
  6. There are announcement programs for almost any service pattern available in the B Division. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it in my opinion.
  7. Well Tokyo (Almost typed Tokkyu which means Special Express) is a level below us from a global standpoint. Tokyo (almost did it again. Damn you Ressha Sentai ToQger [Tokkyuger]) is one of the cities that fills the global services that London and NYC don't have.
  8. I love the fact you mentioned London, considering it's the only other city in the world at the same economic level as New York City.
  9. You seem to forget that our money problems come from getting into useless conflicts that cost trillions of dollars, as well as our government printing money out of thin air. There are many factors to why things cost so much here, but it all comes down to the fact this country is screwed financially. Some other countries have more valuable money, or just more money. Others have less strict labor laws. And if you wanna get technical, had World Wars One and Two not happened, it would have been done a long time ago. These wars almost caused the IND First Phase to not be finished. Another thing that delayed this thing is peoples hate for Els. Sorry, I'm rambling. I give the U.S. until 2025.
  10. Dude, almost every class of car the city's subways operated has been nearly the same to one another. (That applies to cars with similar designs.) Why do people feel the need to keep pointing that out? Evolutionary, not Revolutionary. The MTA is not making the R44/46 mistake again.
  11. Those numbers were for rush hour expresses. the would be (8), the changed to 11. The Thru Express would have been (12) I think. Things like that.
  12. They should. Especially since they share propulsion systems.
  13. Cars R1-R14 had exterior door controls that lacked a system to keep doors locked when the train was in motion, hence the door issues. Everything R15 and after had it.
  14. Didn't a train or two remain on the line?
  15. I'm glad Im not the only one that thinks that way. It does get tiring repeating that over and over. Starting to debate whether or not the term "fan" is even proper for certain people anymore. There was one time I took a pic of Queens Plaza, and somebody said "That picture would have been better if the garbage can wasn't in it". I'm like, IT WAS THERE FOR A PURPOSE. I like to show the subway how it actually is, to show, "Hey, these things exist and not everyone throws their trash on the ground".
  16. Well, from news articles from the time, the original plans were for either Rogers or Nostrand with Nostrand being chosen.
  17. There were R68As on the yesterday. Saw one at 4:47pm at Columbus Circle, trailing car was 5166.
  18. Not the R188, the R32. I last read 2 trips yesterday.
  19. Yeah, I was just really tired. I can actually get much needed sleep since it's spring break. I'm usually the one guy that observes the behavior, shaking my head at the fact that a pack of hyenas behave better on Tuesday. With the R188 debut, I waited until the 2nd day, and it was a great choice. How long did it run yesterday? Thanks btw.
  20. Yesterday evening, I was at HBO in Manhattan. I was looking down at 6 Avenue and saw an MCI numbered 3083. The only problem is, the last 3 was backward. Who the hell was in charge? lol
  21. Now, if I wasn't tired as hell from last night, I'd be out there.
  22. Orion VII NG 4137 was on the S48. Saw it at St. George at 10:00pm while waiting for the 98.
  23. Question. I want to take the Express Bus to school today, but I have a regular unlimited metrocard. HOWEVER. I have about 41 buck on the same card. Will the farebox deduct the money or just reject the card altogether because it's not the express bus plus card?
