So R-143 & R-46 going the the ? I can see the the 143's on the that makes sense.

Yes you should, so I can move up on the open competitive T/O list. Muahahaha
Oh no doubt, I'll decline the offer then.

Are you sure you can do that? I've heard that if you go from being a C/R to a T/O from the O/C list, you can't go back to being a C/R should you ever want to or need to go back. You might want to wait for the next promotional T/O test. At a minimum, you should definitely consult with HR to find out if you can ever go back to being a C/R before you accept a T/O job. When you get called off a promotional T/O list, you can almost always go back to your former title. But I don't know about what haoppens when you get called from a O/C list.
I'm going to listen to YOU? hahaha

Ok End of August is looking like a mixed class end of the Promotional list and beginning of O/C list. So forget my last post.
Oh thats great news, I need to move up front now. Tired of looking at my window and seeing another subway car smiling at me.

they shouldn't be talking when the R46's are garbage and run like garbage
I was being sarcastic

Belive it or not, I once 'heard' talk about the using the 143's. But who knows.

Yesterday I saw a 42 signed as heading through Essex St. back towards ENY. It's like they can't want to take those cars back.
They told ENY to take there garbage back.

There is no brake issue, it's just that people don't understand that they have to adjust their operation accordingly. Every train is different.
The 68A's like to play tricks on you.

Brakes release takes too long along with a delay on applying the brakes.
This.

Dan05979, do you think that the R46s will end up like the NYCS R44s? I'm very worried due to the bad news you told us. I love the subway and I'm hoping they are still getting SMS'ed.
I have no idea. I love the 46 also. Very easy to work in as far as my viewpoint. And large cabs to work in compared to the 68.
The 46's are getting tired, and there looking tired.

Okay . Just the combination of "the" and "seriouse" got me confused...
Oh boy I failed that one. Save Lives! Never be on the phone and type at the same time!
I won't be mad if you dont take my shit seriously now lol
Harry needs some spell check up in here.

The thing is, he always acts like he knows what he's talking about, but he's only sometimes accurate. Remember, this is the guy who said that R160s were coming to the line and the MTA wanted to retire the R68s.
Whatever its not that SERIOUS!

No, stuff like acting like you know everything about the damn cars when you don't creates BS.
Seems like he knows what he's talking about to me. I see no B.S in his statement.

The 46's from Jammy yard are in much better shape than the pitkin 46's. There are a few Jammy 46's on the & and they are looking old. 5600 series.

Any bet its going back in service on the or Why I say this, because the 46's have been failing as of lately. Every other set has at least on dead motor car, or something wrong with door indication. I myself had to take one out of service when I lost indication in my fron section. I'm hearing there finding alot of rust underneath the bodies, especially where the motorman sits....

Well now Donald finally works down here so he has accurate info. You will be surprised at the number of old timers who get lots of info wrong. Most of them think that if 2 people get the same score on an exam the TA calls the person who filed first. Contrary to popular belif, this is wrong.
You have been working "down here" for a week. What do you know?

Why are the pics so small? I need a telescope to look at those pics.

I wonder if they were 160's from the or the

10 R42's went back to ENY, saw it last night back at ENY yard
That were running on the ? Thank god.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the R42's on the line. Their are 48 R42 cars left in service and the 207th Street yard is home to trains that are at the end of their careers. In my opinion, I think there will be a 3 yard switch. Jamaica Yard will give East New York yard 50 R160 cars (which they would renumber and make into 8 car sets.) East New York yard would give the 207th Street yard all 48 R42 cars and the 207th Street yard will give the Jamaica yard 48 R46 cars.
WTF are you talking about?
There going to turn 5 car 160's to 4 car sets and renumber them?
Bring all the 42's from Jam Yard to the A line?
Lord Have mercy.

Because of a switch problem @ W4 2pm & were running on the line from W4 to 59 and they had some (E)'s running express from W4 to Bedford Park Blvd......that would have been a great photo moment.
