    The M8 seats are actually pretty comfortable. They had a mock up a while ago.

    Before 2005 Straphangers was the top transit website. In early 2005 a bunch of trolls started posting at RD. People at straphangers flamed the trolls. However, instead of banning the trolls the moderator named Belmont banned the people who flamed the trolls. People started leaving Straphangers in droves. Many former Straphangers joined Subchat.

    I railfanned all the way to Tottenville. The overall ride isn't bad, though a few rowdy teens get on around Eltingville. The headways are designed to match the ferry. Plus, ridership is relatively low.

    To be honest, the SIRT is fairly empty on weekends. There's usually no more than 15 people in a car.
