  1. Whole Foods sells a plethora of herbal medicine
  2. It seems like the arcade era is over in the city. I think it has to do with hoodlums congregating at arcades. Even the arcade in Chinatown is moving to a bar in Williamsburg. Broadway City in Times Square was epic, but thanks to a stabbing and a rape, it is gone.
  3. WARNING: THIS SONG WILL MAKE YOUR EARS BLEED http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD2LRROpph0
  4. Why can't we have R110B's instead of those lame, cookie-cutter R160's?
  5. F*ck Weinberg. Will D is another douche. He walks around acting like he's the smartest guy on the planet. I've never seen such a pompous @ss. I decided to post at Subchat on a limited basis. I will only post pics. I will no longer participate in discussions there.
  6. Believe me, if you have a chance to go on a date with a female, do it. Take it from a 26 year old who can't even get a female to look in his direction.
  7. I once (almost) used a WMATA fare pass at Jamaica Center.
  8. No, it stops at Hunterspoint, Jamaica, Westhampton, Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Amangasett (sp?), and Montauk.
  9. What happened to the F Minus comic strip in the Daily News?
  10. My official review of the M8: Overall, I was impressed with the M8. The ride is very smooth, the seats are somewhat comfortable (though the headrest are still too hard), and there are outlets. Aesthetically, however, I wasn't impressed. The M8 isn't known for its beauty. There was a lot of hype about the M8, but it's essentially a M7a with red paint. The M8 is definitely an improvement over the current rolling stock of the New Haven line, but it's definitely not the best commuter rail car out there. I'm sure the Silverliner V (which I'll likely ride on Monday) is the better model.
  11. No, I'm taking the 4:07 train from Grand Central.
  12. Friday, after I ace my Torts midterm, I will ride a M8.
  13. I've asked this a million times and I'll ask again: does anyone know the specific times and stations where the M8 will apppear?
  14. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy my $10 roundtrip ride, two seats to myself, and an electrical outlet so I can watch DVD's.
  15. Next week, I hope to achieve railfanning immortality. I have the entire week off. On Monday, I will head to Philadelphia and attempt to take pics of and make a video of the Silverliner V. On Friday, I will look for the M8. The Silverliner V and the M8 on the same week. Can it be done? Stay tuned...
  16. I'm still having loggin difficulties. That's why I didn't post for two days. As for Subchat, nothing Weinturd does surprises me.
  17. I had problems logging in. For a brief second, I thought the mods took me on a ride of the B7.
  18. I was actually referring to the world transit page, but you do have a point.
  19. There are a million sites devoted to old trolley lines. NYCsubway.org is supposed to be subways and commuter railroads. I understand that Dave doesn't want 300 pics of Queensboro Plaza, but it's as if he's shunned all non-trolley pics.
  20. The irony is that the building makes Franklin K Lane look like a prestigious institution.
  21. A combined 15 hours of sleep over the past 3 days, two papers due, and two midterms on back to back days next week. Law school is so fun!
  22. If I see another old streetcar pic at nycsubway.org I'm going to hurl. It's like Dave stopped accepting submissions for anything except defunct streetcar routes.
  23. Some of the women at my law school are disgusting. The other day, I had to use the bathroom. I saw this gorgeous, petite girl leaving a unisex bathroom. I entered...and it smelled like poop.
  24. The Capital One on Jamaica Avenue is the slowest bank there is. The average wait time is 15 minutes. At every other Capital One, I'm in and out in 2 minutes or less.
