Bracamonte Posted August 3, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 3, 2009 I was on TMC RTS #7181 on the Q49 today. By the time we got to 86th Street, the bus stopped in the bus stop and was on idle for a long time. I heard beeping noises from the bus driver's area. Minutes later the bus driver told us there is another bus behind us. So we got off the bus and boarded the one behind which was an Orion VII OG. R32 3348 Posted August 7, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 7, 2009 Catching those 7XXX's is extremely rare. It's not too big of a surprise the bus broke down considering it's a LGA bus and it's at the end of the line. BTW, does anyone know if that bus has those 3 yellow lights at the back of the bus from the PBL days?
T J Trainman Posted August 7, 2009 Share #3 Posted August 7, 2009 the orange lights area was completely replaced. the back of the bus looks like a regular MTA bus. I agree the 7100s are rare.

The other was removed. #7180 has the orange lights but are not working.
