Pablo M 201 Posted December 9, 2009 Share #5 Posted December 9, 2009 Book myself a round trip to DC for my winter break. As much as I'm not a big fan of MegaBus (I prefer Bolt Bus much better), but it would be nice to ride a Van Hool TD-925 again since I haven't been in one since the one that the MTA demoed, 0053. Forest Glen Posted December 9, 2009 Share #6 Posted December 9, 2009 Megabus is the best thing to happen to Intercity bus transit. Before the advent of Megabus there was a choice between the overpriced Amtrak, the unsanitary Chinatown buses, or the notoriously unreliable Greyhound. I rode Megabus on Monday. It had outlets, meaning that I could watch DVDs. One of the trips was half empty. I had a two seater to myself. I only paid $16 for a roundtrip from NY to DC.
