This week (12/27), I went to look back at my old hard drive and lucky to found some old scan maps that were download from the web back in mid 2000s. So here are the 1984 MSBA map scan copy and 1994 MTA Long Island Bus also scan copy to share with you guys. I cannot post the big maps here due to the limitations in the forum and the picture host site. To make it easier for you guys to get these maps on your computer... The higher quality map is in the the download links (Megaupload) posted below of the preview maps. Once again, The maps are big!, I am not converting to smaller size since you can not see it very clearly. I do not have the original copy on my hand. Sorry for the POS quality since back then, someone cut and paste it poorly using Microsoft Paint. But the maps are ok to see except some parts are overlapped or missing, the lighting and the dark is crap so get use to it. Without further more typing this story, here's the maps below it.....

Its probably in the early 1990s. Since it is duplicate to S1.

Maybe the S21 was originally the Walt Whitman-Amityville Portion of the S1. The route was at one time two different routes run by two different companies before Suffolk created Suffolk Transit. And when they made it one whole route they numbered it S1 and moved it to service all of RT110 instead of keeping it going the old way.

Thats my best guess as i never heard of any other route going from Walt Whitman down to Sunrise Mall area.

It also means that Suffolk Transit has shut down at least two routes since it was created. the first probably being the S21 some time after 1984 but before 1994, and the other being the S74 in 1999/2000
